"Brian is very accommodating and his place is wonderful. I have 2- 2 yr old boys and wanted a place at the last min. The place was next to the pool and a playground which made it very easy and drive to the town of Manteo and Nags Head took less than 10 mins. Thanks Brian!"

"This home is so welcoming and in a great location. Being in Manteo kept us off the main drags on the Outer Banks in the evenings but allowed easy access during the day. So much to do just on Roanoke that we hardly had time for the beach! Wish we could have stayed longer, Baum house felt like a home away from home!"

"We stayed here for a week in July 2015. It was honestly one of the most comfortable places we've ever stayed on vacation. There are many activities right there on the Pirates Cove property. So there were days when we didn't even get in our car. The pool, restaurant, tiki bar, marina and ship's store are just a quick walk along a pretty dock. The sunset view in the evening was beautiful. The beach was only a 5 minute drive and had free parking. The pretty little town of Manteo is 5 minutes in the other direction. We shopped and had lunch one afternoon there. The condo was very clean and pretty and we had plenty of room for 4 adults and two kids. The owner Carl was so easy to work with and offered many helpful tips before we arrived. We had a great trip and I would highly recommend this condo for a relaxed and comfortable family vacation."

Red sky at night - beautiful sunsets and bright blue sky days!
"I’d like to know if there is anyone who stays at one of Sharon Watson’s cottages that doesn’t fall in love with Manteo?
This was our second time staying in Manteo - our first summertime stay and our first time at Magnolia. Magnolia Cottage is simply wonderful. There were 3 in our group, plus our dog for this visit. Magnolia Cottage is a house one could easily imagine staying in for a long, long, time. A big bonus is that Magnolia has a really nicely appointed kitchen. Honestly, this is a place where despite the excellent restaurant choices within walking distance, one might easily choose to cook up some serious meals at home, and there’s even a gas grill outside in the backyard. Don’t let Magnolia’s more feminine flair fool you - this is a very livable house from the comfy couches in the living room, the three porches, the back patio…to all 3 bedrooms. Then add in the attraction of spending time in the charming town of Manteo and it’s difficult to come up with a better place to be! There’s so much to do that is so close by from sailing, swimming, listening to great music, attending seasonal performances at Festival Park (right down the street) or just wandering through the shops and galleries in town and ending up down at the harbor. We’re hooked!
Sharon Watson is absolutely the best to work with, no matter how long and involved - or how short and sweet your stay might be. 5 stars for Magnolia!"
