"Kenny and Patti were so kind enough to rent their beach house to us. You walk in and it feels like home. Everything is so clean and tidy. You can really see how well the owners take care of the house. Just like another reviewer mentioned, Kenny called during the week to see how our stay was so far. This is first class service! They're so sweet and accommodating. The pool was great and I think they just updated the pool furniture. The house has plenty of space for a big group and no one felt like they were in each others way. Although you do have to cross the main highway, the beach is close by. It's about a 10 minute walk. If you have kids, I do suggest driving. There is plenty of parking by the beach. The house is in a great location and everything is close by. Kenny suggested a seafood market near the Harris Teeter which was FABULOUS! We would definitely come back and recommend this house to our friends."

"We had a lovely time at Mike's View, on the beach in Southern Shores. Probably our 10th stay in this property. We are hooked - as our dogs can go, and many friends have gone with us, on different vacations over the years. Ready to book it again for next year."

"This place was just as lovely as I had hoped. The owner was immensely helpful and welcoming. Check in was super convenient and on my schedule. Could be done with a lock box, but owner was there to welcome my husband and I, even though it was late. She helped us plan our days and gave us tips for dining and sightseeing. I loved having her there on the property to help if I had a quick question, but we also had plenty of privacy, too. The studio felt very separate with the layout and trees helping to give us some sense of coziness. The place itself was very quiet as the property is located nearly at the end of an already quiet street so almost no one drives by. The backyard is a little slice of heaven with lots of trees, including a sweet Weepin Willow cradling individual seating areas in a flagstone patio, with access to a grill if desired. A hammock is hung near the water between two trees with a string of lights draping over it to give you a lovely nighttime escape. And of course, the dock on the Sound is the best seat in the place to take in the beauty of the massive body of water. We were blessed with the most spectacular sunset reflected like a mirror over the calm waters while we were there. The land mass to the west is far enough away that it nearly disappears completely, leaving the most peaceful, serene view before you. Lighting hanging in the trees at night brings the space alive and everything felt so warm and inviting. Inside the studio was just perfect - everything we needed - and just the right amount of space. Just as cozy and welcoming as the lovely yard. We WILL be back and were sad to have to leave!!!"
