Amazingly Private Inside and Out and Yet Convenient to EVERYTHING!
"This house was AWESOME for our family of 17, (ranging from 5-75). Every room except the kids rooms on the bottom level have their own direct access to the deck areas which we all LOVED and their own bathrooms. Plus it is all VERY soundproof! The pool was well gated and secure so our little ones were safe. Everyone, even the adults had a BLAST on the slide, and in the pool and Hot Tub. The house was immaculate and even when we had an issue, (the AC stopped working on the 2nd Floor), the homeowner had it fixed within 2 hours of the initial phone call, while we were still out relaxing on the beach! The Beach is very private. (But fyi.. no lifeguards). We did most of our swimming in the pool. There are lifeguards about a 1/2 mile down the beach if you wanted to be close to one. I do suggest bringing your own pots and pans if you are cooking every meal at the house. The stock pots were too big, and the one they did have was too small.. Other than that all utensils, etc. was very well stocked. Plus Wal-Mart is only about 1.5 miles away!! The traffic on Route 12 is a little intimidating, but for the most part people do stop for you in the crosswalk. I highly suggest this house for your large family that enjoys having their own space on a week long vacation!"

"The house is in a great location and poised to miss most of the incoming traffic of other vacationers. The hop, skip and a jump to the beach was a favorite for my family. The easy back and forth access eliminated a lot of the pack mule feel that happens so easily with beach going.
The light, airy and overall beachy feel of the house is so relaxing just for a week of no set time to be anywhere. Deck access from most of the bedrooms gives immediate access to another living and gathering space.
The kitchen is fully functional with all the necessities and amenities.
The dining table is large enough for the entire house to gather around for meals or games.
The owner was very attentive to our needs as a family and was eager to help with all my questions.
We are looking forward to another visit next summer.

"We have had a great stay at "the little house"! It was very clean, cofortable and so cosy, you just feld at home! Of coarse Malisa's warm Welcome was also part of this. We would highly recomend this place!
P.S.We even had visitors at breakfast in the garden: a deer mom with her little Bambi was sitting next to us...."

"We typically stay in Duck, but found this place on VRBO & saw the beautiful front-row views of the sound and decided to book this home. Wow, what a great view, sunsets were beautiful, evenings by the fire pit helped take the chill off (we came early in the season), and everyone of the 6 us was pleased! Most of us are from "up north" so it definitely had more of a "lake house" feel, which we loved! 2 of the bedrooms are on one end of the home, while 3 are in the other...helps with groups/families and allows for a "retreat" when quiet time is needed. The home was super clean, clearly the owners take pride in the home and use it personally, unlike many of the pure rentals in the area."
