  • Wonderful Place!!!

"I am writing this review while I am down here because I feel a need to let families know that this place is outstanding! The home is very clean and it has everything in it! Very organized. We feel at home here. The ocean is a short walk across the street and the sound is behind us where we have been fishing. I like to run in the mornings and it just so happens that right outside on the road is a bike path! We ordered linens through Seaside Linens and they were delivered on time and there were plenty of towels to get us through the week. We shopped at Food Lion and Walmart market place. Two doors down there is a farmers market that sets up daily. It was nice just to walk over and get what you want. It's just beach life down here! Everyone is nice and laid back! This is a vacation to relax and just lay back and enjoy nature. It's not a run around eat out type of vacation. Last if all the owner was a pleasure to work with! Very nice and helpful! We are for sure coming back to re rent this lovely place!!"

  • A very nice condo that takes pets

"We wanted an oceanfront place that takes pets, and this condo fit the bill. It is an older condo, but everything works (well, except the ice maker), and with three bedrooms and three and a half baths, you have plenty of privacy. There are ample plates, cutlery, silverware, and pots and pans. The living room furniture is and very comfy (couch and three easy chairs), and we liked the hardwood floors--easy to sweep. An electric broom would be a nice addition. The beds are extremely comfortable. Two bedrooms are oceanfront (second and third floor) with covered balconies and chairs, and there is a wide covered deck off the living room. The only things missing are hairdryers and an ironing board. Dogs are not allowed on the beach between April and October, but two miles south and one and a half miles north are beaches that allow leashed dogs in season, off leash out of season--Freeman Park to the north and Fort Fisher State Rec Area to the south (it's the prettiest, and the part that allows cars is separated). There are three steep staircases, so it may not be good for toddlers or the elderly. But we will be back!"

  • Always a great vacation

"My husband and I recently returned from our 4th stay in this lovely condo, and I'd go back again tomorrow if we could. It's spacious, has a newly renovated, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable, attractive furniture. The access to a beautiful beach is what we love best, along with the ocean views from both the living room and master bedroom. And for the occasional day when we don't want to "beach it", the pool is a great alternative. Restaurant selections in the area are numerous and we have favorites we return to yearly. The Wrightsville Beach area has everything you could want, including a convenient airport, golf, shopping, etc. Susan is great to work with and has always been very accommodating about helping us make our plans. We have many great family memories from vacations in Wrightsville Beach!"

  • Wonderful large family property

"We have been enjoying a family beach reunion for over 25 years. We found this duplex a few years ago and have totally enjoyed it. We have both side which gives us 10 bedrooms and it is one of the largest living areas we have been able to enjoy. The porches offer a non obstructed deck(s) for both sides of the duplex which is great for all families to enjoy both sides. The owners have made many upgrades to the property over the years and anytime we had a problem it was dealt with immediately. I would highly recommend this property and thank the owners for our being able to enjoy their beach home."
