  • Clean and Convenient!

"The condo was very clean and nicely furnished. The walk to the beach was just as short as some of the oceanfront homes further down the beach. We did not use the pool, but it was a nice size and very well kept. The condo was also close to the bridge, which made trips to local stores and restaurants very convenient. I would definitely rent this condo again in the future!"

  • Gorgeous setting!

"The condo was accurately described, peaceful, comfortable, and quiet. It had everything we needed. There was a welcome basket that we appreciated very much! The view from the sliding door was gorgeous. The beach was only a couple minutes away with easy access, which eliminated the need to pack up a car and drive to a public access. The beach had more seashells than I've ever seen in my life and I loved it! The walks were great exercise and very relaxing. The owners were great to work with and I will definitely return. One thing I would like to offer travelers is bring bug repellent because it seems after a storm an insect called midges become a little pesky for a brief amount of time (as with any large body of water area) and then disappear! My daughter and grandson also enjoyed our visit and I would advise anyone who is interested in a beach visit with incredible view, and affordable accommodations to check this area out! Happy traveling :) Thank you so much Dave & Lisa for offering your lovely home!"

  • Perfect spot for a family vacation!

"This home was the perfect place for our family vacation! Everything went smoothly and was better than expected. Communication with the owner was easy and she was more than accommodating. The home is even better than it looks in the photos! The beachfront location and private pool made it very easy for us and our two small children (2, 5 years old) as well as the grandparents. The kitchen was equipped with everything that you could possibly need and the views from the living room could not be better. The house was very clean and there were extra blankets and pillows :) It is safe to say that we loved the time that we spent at "Changes in Latitude" and would HIGHLY recommend it for any family looking for an amazing place to spend their vacation! We can't wait to go back!!"

  • Charm, shells and a porch with a great view.

"My Husband and I have had a wonderful week at this adorable beach cottage. Our little Bishon, Mia, has had a great time too! This was our first visit to Holden Beach and we loved it. I always collect as many shells as I possible can to take home for art projects. I hit the jackpot here. This beach is one of the most beautiful we have visited. The screened in porch was one of the best features giving us a great view of the ocean. Make sure you read the journal entries left by previous guests. They are insightful and entertaining. This is how we found out about the "disappearing doors". The cottage is charming and is everything it appears to be in the photos. We hated to leave. All the way back to Lake Norman I kept trying to persuade my Husband to "Turn Around". Sonja and Pat Shannon, Lake Norman, North Carolina"
