"Had a great time at Ocean Isle for a long weekend. The condo is great for families, lots of space, plenty of beds! Sound views are gorgeous, beach near the access is beautiful. Dale was so easy to work with and so helpful."

"Just returned from my time at this lovely cottage.
The occasion was my 60th birthday and I couldn't have chosen a better way to spend it.
As a recent widow, I was looking for some peace, tranquility and time for reflection by the ocean.
What first attracted me to this particular home was that it was pet friendly. My dogs are my children and it's not a vacation without them. The house is perfect for those who travel with their canine counterparts. The four bedrooms are carpeted, but can be closed off. The living/kitchen/dining area are all tiled and easy to clean. I brought my own throw covers for the furniture, but there are enough in the house to protect the furniture in case your Fidos accidentally jump up on something they shouldn't. There's an outside shower and hose to clean off sandy paws and two upper and one lower deck they can dry out on before coming back into the house.
Being off season, the beach, especially at " the quiet end" was practically deserted. As many previous renters mentioned, this was an added draw for me. In addition to that, the house in not sandwiched in between another row of dwellings, as most here are.
On the ocean side there are houses immediately in front, but on the other there is a view of the marshes and natural area. The deer, as others have mentioned, do come out every night to graze. It was an added pleasure to watch them each evening at sunset.
Again, being off season, most of the restaurants nearby offer limited service. Not a problem for me, since my family and I prefer to cook at home. There are gourmet and grocery stores close by and the kitchen is more than amply equipped. There is an outside grill as well, should you need one. We didn't, but it was a nice option.
A word about the owners. Christine was incredible. This was a last minute booking and she responded to me within hours of my inquiry. In less than two days we had a contract. Thanks also to Steve, who was there to meet and greet and help us get settled.
Unfortunately, I had to cut my time short due to weather and power outages, but I'll be back to this very sweet, peaceful place. That's the best recommendation I can give."

"We had a wonderful long weekend celebrating spring break. There were 10 of us (5 moms and 5 senior girls) and with the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms we had plenty of room for our girls only getaway. Even in the living room, we could all gather around and play games and watch movies. Usually in condos there is barely enough furniture for a large group, but with a sofa, loveseat and 2 additional chairs and floor space it was perfect. Condo is very well equipped with plenty of extra pillows and blankets in all closets (even has Keurig & crock pot). The weather was not too great but we still had fun sitting on the deck and listening to the ocean waves. This is my 3rd time renting with Cliff and he's an absolute pleasure. He's extremely responsive. This unit is very close to the pool and tiki bar which is always a lot of fun. Although we did not bring our small dog this time, we have brought her before and stayed in another of Cliff's condos and the area is very well suited for pets. I love this resort area because even in the middle of summer, it's busy and full of people but it just doesn't feel crowded. It's fun sitting on the deck and watching all the kids outside playing. This particular unit is a perfect location since there is not another house or building directly in front and the beach access is literally right across the small street with not much traffic at all. I would definitely rent this unit (or anything else Cliff has) again in the future."
