"My best friend and I had the best ever vacation in this fantastically appointed, spacious villa, right on the golf course with a serene golf course view. The Villa 504 is centrally located, quiet, private and with convenient access to the fantastic Tommy Thompson's grill, with excellent drinks, harbor views and superb grilled mahi atop a greek salad. Mouthwatering! Ambience to relax you for the evening. We biked over to the grill and enjoyed biking back on the safe, cool bike trails. The villa owner is so easy to work with and extremely responsive to questions regarding dates, activities, facilities and more. She recommended the local theater and we saw a hilarious production filled with vignettes about love. The Beach pool and beach access associated with St. James Plantation made our walks and picnics on the beach, as much fun as swimming. We loved shopping in quaint Southport, especially at the kitchen store, art galleries and Christmas shop. Forgot to mention, that the Villa's décor is updated and fun, with fresh colors, new furniture, and new bedding. The turquoise, yellow and navy were cheery in my bedroom each morning. My girl friend and I both liked the oversized couch, supersized chair and new flat screen television at the end of each day. St. James is a super place to bicycle, as well as play golf, sail, dine, swim at the nearby pool and ocean, and play tennis. The sailing off the Atlantic coast is sublime, with steady winds, 4 ft fish jumping, and dolphins cavorting. You couldn't pick a better spot for a few days or weeks respite. We had "chamber of commerce" weather in May!"
