Nice, comfortable, quiet get-away
"My wife and I stayed for 9 days and were joined by my son, daughter-in-law and 17 month old grandson for 4 of those days. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and well-stocked with items to make our stay a pleasant one. Gerald, the owner, was excellent to work with both before the stay and helpful during our stay. Although Sea Trail is a quiet place, we found things to do onsite (golf, Activities Center with indoor and outdoor pools), close by (planetarium, Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle, movies), and within a short drive (Barefoot Landing, Broadway on the Beach, and Tanger Outlets in Myrtle) to satisfy our desire for activity. The only thing missing from the immediate area are nice restaurants. There are several ice cream, hamburger, pizza, and fast food type of places very near--and the hamburgers we got at Beach Burgers were great--but nicer restaurants don't seem to be present in the immediate vicinity. However, since we were on vacation, that wasn't much of a problem as we drove 15-30 minutes to Little River or North Myrtle and found several nice restaurants. (Many people would opt to drive a much short distance to Calabash). Overall, it was very a nice trip. If planning a trip to the Sunset Beach/Ocean Isle area, I would wholeheartedly recommend working with Gerald to secure a place to stay!"

"Just spent 3 months at this great condo. Pretty, peaceful setting. Condo very comfortable with everything anyone would need in kitchen, etc. Love the towns of Calabash and Little River, SC. North Myrtle Beach maybe a 20 minute drive. Beach at Sunset is gorgeous! Some really fun places to go are Boundary House, The Grapevine, Callahans, and Vereen Nature Center in Calabash. In Little River, we had so much fun at Patio's and Key West Crazy...live music and great intracoastal scenery. LaBelle Amie Vineyard is our favorite with lots of live outdoor music, wine tasting, a beautiful gift shop. Lots to do in North Myrtle Beach/Myrtle Beach. Found the best pizza this time at Mellow Mushroom in North Myrtle. Great appetizers at Martinis in North Myrtle. Did not get to see resident alligator but saw others down the road near golf course ponds :) Great stay!"

"Our family really enjoyed our time at the Bugg House, and we would highly recommend it! The house was affordable, well-kept, and in an awesome location. Sunset Beach is virtually all residential, with one whole side of the beach held in a nature preserve. Groceries and fresh seafood are just over the bridge, and Calabash is only 10 minutes or so with lots of restaurant options. The Bugg House is great because it's on a canal, it's a 5 min walk to the beach, and it's a 5 minute drive to Tubbs Inlet. We really enjoyed grilling out, kayaking, hanging on the beach, and boating. Robert called me to check-in when we arrived, and Jeanette was very flexible and generous with our scheduling. Easy to work with, good Christian folks. You won't regret a stay at their place. Thanks Buggs!"

"We have stayed here many times and each time we have had a wonderful experience. The condo was clean, quiet, well furnished and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A definite recommendation will be made to any friends or family that want to holiday in Sunset Beach. Close to all amenities at Seatrail and one of the most beautiful, tranquil beaches we have seen. We even found some sand dollars and other beautiful shells ! Convenient to all the many golf courses, restaurants and shopping and we have made many friends here."
