"Our stay at Terrapin Station was everything plus more!!! We had three families with six young children and everyone loved it!!! You couldn't get much closer to the beach and it was pretty much a private beach which was absolutely wonderful! Then when coming up from the beach there was a nice rinse area for feet right on the deck or even better down by the pool a wonderful outdoor shower to rinse before getting into the nicely kept pool. The house is also not too far from surf city which is such a cute beach town to visit we went into town a few times to buy fresh seafood which was wonderful and to do some shopping!! Which the house had everything we needed to cook all our meals. Our first trip to TI and we definitely spoiled ourselves with this house!!"

"We have been coming to Topsail Island for many years and this has to be one of our favorite houses. We never stayed in North Topsail Beach and I must say it is so relaxing. There are less people on the beach than at Surf City. Nancy is wonderful to work with. The house is extremely clean and very well kept. The deck was beautiful and the deck furniture was top notch. My son loved the hot tub!!! Our dogs enjoy the beach. The house is well stocked. The fact that they supply the towels and sheets is a huge plus and much appreciated. Thank goodness there were no sharks the week we went. We had a wonderful stay!! Thanks, Nancy and George"

"My family enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean and fresh smelling. The carpet appears new and the house looked like it may have been newly painted. The picture of the house did not do it justice. There were only 7 of us but I believe that the house can accommodate 10. It has a nice size living and dining room. My only suggestion would be to update the stove. It is an electric stove with coils. The coils are tilted and uneven making it difficult to cook. I think if you are planning to cook a lot it can be frustrating. An update on cookware can also help. There were several choices but most are scratched.
The entrance of the house have overgrown bushes which made it difficult to find the house driving from the street.
The stairs leading to the beach was partly covered with sand and the rest of the way you have to go down through a steep sand. If you have anyone who are elderly it will be difficult to get to the beach.
Additionally, there is a 3 feet diameter pipe that runs across the length of Top Sail beach. Apparently, it is a dreadging pipe for maintenance of the beach which started last year. Again, if you have an elderly person, it is difficult to go over the pipes.
Overall, all these things are minor and the stay was enjoyable. The owner was very responsive and helpful. If I have to do it again I will book this place again without any hesitation."

"Room was great. Though we didn't spend much time there. We had an awesome time finding sharks teeth on the beach and exploring everything the island has to offer! Fishing was so much fun.....and if that doesn't bring you dinner, head to the 7th floor to eat at the Shrimp House - its great!"
