"I would highly recommend this beach house. Besides the location the porch is fabulous. We ate every meal out on the porch while looking at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with all equipment needed. We had a problem with the port-a-crib and the owner told us to rent one and he would reimburse us. The owner was very easy to work with."

  • The only place we will EVER stay !

"The location and the house are the best on Wrightsville Beach. We had the pleasure of staying the first week of August this year. Alot of rain but still a great vacation. We were outside after a rain storm with owners when they got that beautiful shot of the rainbow. I have just secured my stay for 2015. As my family continues to grow I plan to rent the whole house because it is the best place at the beach plus working with the owners is so easy and friendly. We actually met a family that has been staying here for over 15 years. That should tell you how special this house is."

  • Always a great vacation

"My husband and I recently returned from our 4th stay in this lovely condo, and I'd go back again tomorrow if we could. It's spacious, has a newly renovated, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable, attractive furniture. The access to a beautiful beach is what we love best, along with the ocean views from both the living room and master bedroom. And for the occasional day when we don't want to "beach it", the pool is a great alternative. Restaurant selections in the area are numerous and we have favorites we return to yearly. The Wrightsville Beach area has everything you could want, including a convenient airport, golf, shopping, etc. Susan is great to work with and has always been very accommodating about helping us make our plans. We have many great family memories from vacations in Wrightsville Beach!"

  • Wonderful ocean views

"Great place with great views! My husband and I enjoyed a lovely off season getaway. The owner was very helpful before and during our stay and the staff at the resort was super friendly. We enjoyed our short walks to the beach and meals at the resort restaurant. I would highly recommend and we are planning a return trip"

The museum is housed in a turn-of-the-century Myers Cottage. Inside you'll find a cool scale model of Wrightsville Beach circa 1910 as well as exhibits depicting the early days of the town, hurricane history and how the interaction between the people of Wrightsville Beach and nature shaped the 100 years of history here.
