Outstanding Family Vacation!
"Words can't describe what a great time my family had on Oak Island at Caswell Beach. Gay's condo is wonderful and beautiful just by itself, but then she goes the extra mile by having the little extras that will save you trips to the store. I swear she has ESP, because everything we needed, we found! Caswell Dunes is gorgeous, and both the residents and other tourists we met, were all friendly and sociable. My family loved the golf cart, beach cart, beach umbrella, and the beach chairs. I enjoyed the short walk to both the pool and the beach, and how uncrowded both were. Just a short drive gets you to restaurants, stores, and seafood markets. Oak Island produces some of the best shrimp you will ever eat, and Gay has the kitchen set up perfectly to prepare these treasures. Truly a wonderful experience: we ate, drank, fished, sunbathed, swam, went sightseeing, climbed the lighthouse, and watched Safe Haven for the thousandth time. Gay and Ted really do own a little slice of paradise, and you will not be disappointed."

"We weren't able to stay for a whole week, but the location and the villa was perfect! It had 4 bedrooms that were spacious, clean, well-decorated, with 4 nice bathrooms attached. The kitchen was large, had nice appliances and the living area and deck was also perfect for us. There were 6 of us total and we had plenty of room for up to 9 to stay comfortably. There was a nice laundry room, an elevator, safe surroundings and parking area. The beach was perfect, not too far to walk and relatively private - not very crowded at all. It was a short walk to the beach with steps and a road to cross, but we managed fine. The tennis courts are right next door and we used those also. We did not try out the pool - it seemed crowded compared to the beach and we wanted to avoid crowds. There are restaurants pretty close by that weren't crowded (no wait on a Friday night at Chili's) and we found the traffic to be so nice compared to most beach areas. It felt odd to be there in June and not have much traffic at the beach, but it is true. I hope we can return sometime. The owners were extremely easy to deal with and we LOVE the villa, and of course, the beach!"

"We were lucky enough to stay here for a week with 6 of our children and a few friends during the first week of August. The house was spacious and the views were amazing. The beach was not overcrowded and the sand was perfection. The beds were a little hard and the cleaning service did not appear to be top notch, but other than those two things, the house was just perfect for our large family. Everyone felt at home and had a great time. The large kitchen bar was perfect for everyone to take a seat. We loved the decks and the views they afforded. Ms. Brenner could not have been kinder and we are thankful for the use of your home. We had a great time and would come back here again."

Comfortable space, great views, convenient location
"My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this very convenient, well equipped, and comfortable condo. Beach, boardwalk, and many restaurants were within easy walking distance. The owner was responsive and accommodating. And the views were the best. We'd definitely consider another stay."
