  • MAGICAL!

"My wife and I booked the Tree House over the Christmas holiday for a family reunion/vacation. We had family come from as far away as Dubai. Everyone was totally enchanted with Figure Eight Island and especially the Tree House. Highly Recommended!!"

  • Fabulous

"The view was amazing. The condo was comfortable and immaculate. Our only regret is that we did not book an extra week."

  • Great Condo and Very Pet Friendly

"We really enjoyed our stay at this condo, this was our first time staying at a place like this and we are looking forward to doing it again! Our dog was able to come with us and she really enjoyed the dog beach (Freeman's Park) that was about a 10 minute walk from the condo. We meet other dogs that were staying in some of the other condos and their owners were very friendly and greeted us and our beloved pooch too! We just can not rave about this place any more than we already have! It was very close to the beach although we didn't spend much time at the people beach as we did the dog beach, for it was more fun to spend it with her while she was playing in the waves. We enjoyed Britt's donuts and even brought some home, which was a recommendation by the owner of the condo, which I must say was a big plus! The condo was very very clean and the parking was covered which I really loved, for in case in rained we wouldn't get soaked going to and from the car. We also enjoyed Micheal's Seafood while we were there, it was great!!! The service was really great and the food was even better, which was recommend by a prior visitor for this condo, which was in the guest book. We hope many others stay here and enjoy it as much as we did!!!!"

  • Perfect Place for Beach Get-Away

"I was pleasantly surprised by this property. It is very well maintained and is a comfy little gem in North Topsail. It's on a very quiet part of the beach. The views from the house are indeed direct- but there are houses to the left and right. I would not call this a first row house but also not second row. It's maybe a row and a half. Either way, it's wonderful. It has two enclosed porches (great for those pesky and persistent mosquitoes), two upper porches (excellent for morning coffee with a view), great community pool, good washer/dryer, quiet street, and open kitchen. The place could use more dishes and silverware- but overall was terrific! I was happy that the master bed was comfy (Queen). The only downfall was that linens are not included in the price, but I felt right at home sleeping on my own linens (really not a big deal). We brought our canoe and found it difficult to find the canoe dock. Tip: Go during high tide. Even better, go to the park dock close to the bridge & you can go on the water at anytime. Pros- Excellent value, perfectly decorated, comfy, separate living spaces, enclosed terraces, terraces with beach views, pool, parking, garages Cons- Dishwasher did not work (ugh)- but I contacted the owner and she's getting it fixed ASAP, not completely 1st row- but pretty darn close I highly recommend this place. We are hoping to come back in the fall."

Wrightsville Beach Travel Tips

Nestled into North Carolina's New Hanover County is the lovely little town of Wrightsville Beach, boasting 4 miles of sandy island.

Luckily, Wrightsville Beach is the state's the most accessible and filled with a variety of outdoor activities to enjoy. With such an amazing climate and gorgeous natural views, you'll want to spend as much time as you can soaking up the sun's rays. It's a great spot for for endless family fun, especially if you love water sports like kayaking, kite-boarding and surfing. In between the adventures and exploring, take some time to relax as you gaze out across the shimmering waters or cast a line and hope for a bite.

Wrightsville Beach provides all the charm and welcoming atmosphere of a small town, but still offers tons of city-style cultural experiences. There's a lovely mix of history and modernity here that will leave you with happy memories of your North Carolina getaway.

Things to Do in Wrightsville Beach

- Wrightsville Beach Museum of History: Step back in time as you cross the threshold of the Wrightsville Beach Museum of History and experience the progression of the town through the years. The museum is housed in a turn-of-the-century Myers Cottage. Inside you'll find a cool scale model of Wrightsville Beach circa 1910 as well as exhibits depicting the early days of the town, hurricane history and how the interaction between the people of Wrightsville Beach and nature shaped the 100 years of history here. See exhibits such as "The History of the Bathing Suit," which is a collection of vintage advertisements, and the "Wish You Were Here!" postcard exhibit. The museum was designed to display how a typical life was on the beach in this community, and the best part is that admission to the Wrightsville Beach Museum of History is free.

- Johnnie Mercer's Pier: If you enjoy a morning or afternoon of fishing, then you should definitely spend some at Johnnie Mercer's Pier, which is one of the best fishing spots around. It extends more than 1,200 feet into the Atlantic Ocean, so there's plenty of space for fishermen. The pier was named after John "Johnnie" Mercer, an American lyricist, songwriter and singer from the mid-1930s through the mid-1950s. Mercer wrote more than 1,500 songs and received several awards. he was also a co-founder of Capitol Records. Now you can head to his pier with your tackle box, grab your favorite lure and hope for a bite or two.

- Carolina School of Surf: If you've wanted to learn how to hang 10 and catch a wave, book a lesson at the Carolina School of Surf at Wrightsville Beach. They specialize in surf camps and private lessons, which are great for beginners. All instructors are first aid and CPR certified. You'll learn the basics and then you can impress your travel companions with your newfound skills on the water.

- Wrightsville Beach Farmers Market: If you've traveling in the summer months be sure to stop by the Wrightsville Beach Farmers Market, where you can peruse locally grown produce as well as handcrafted wares. There are a variety of vendors, and you can pick up fresh fruits and veggies, bakery treats, photography, art and plenty more. The market is held every Monday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. from the first Monday in May through Labor Day.

Dining in Wrightsville Beach

- Causeway Cafe: For a delicious breakfast or lunch, head to Causeway Cafe, which is frequented by both locals and visitors. This home-grown establishment is beloved by its loyal customers who enjoy dining both inside as well as on the front deck and lawn. It's a great place to relax and enjoy each other's company as much as the food. Try the omelets, wraps or waffles to start the day off right.

- Oceanic Restaurant: If you're looking for a dining experience with a view, then Oceanic is your spot. Enjoy a scrumptious meal of salad, fresh seafood or tasty chicken or steak as you take in the stunning vistas. Attached to the restaurant is Crystal Pier where you can dine outdoors and listen to live music when the weather permits.

- Buddy's Crabhouse & Oyster Bar: This beach dive bar is the perfect spot to visit if you've craving some serious seafood. The atmosphere is casual, and they're known for rum and specialty drinks, so you know you're in for a fun night out here. Buddy's is uniquely decorated with thousands of dollar bills all over the walls and ceilings, giving an eclectic and fun feel.
