  • Amazing space!

"My new husband and I stayed here on our wedding night after a reception at the Rowan Museum. It was just a couple blocks away from our venue and was perfect! The inside was so clean and very well decorated! If I would have seen it in person before hand, it would have been the perfect place to get ready as well! Would highly recommend it to anyone for a nice place to stay that's centrally located to all of Salisbury's quaint gems!"

  • A Great Family Get Together

"My family rented this lake house while we visited Statesville, NC for a wedding. The house is very large with great spaces for hanging out as a family. And lots of small private decks, porches and hideaways if you need personal time away from your group. We appreciated that each bedroom had its own private bathroom as well as a guest half bath. The weather in early October is great as we took advantage of the large deck for grilling and the smaller sunny spaces on both the dock and waterfront deck. Not really sure which side of the lake we were on, but is was the sunny side, important for those renting later in the year. The kitchen set up made it easy for food prep and even when we were spread out in different rooms, we still felt connected to one another. Did I mention commercial ice maker! The property was clean and the outdoor spaces and landscaping were well taken care of. If I had the opportunity I would rent this property again, but stay longer and bring a boat, jet ski or something that floats in order to take advantage of the lake. (water was 75 degrees)."

  • 1st family Vaca

"This house was more then it was pictured. We had a family total of 22... And there was more than enough room for every one. This was the best relaxing weekend ever. We did not leave the house the entire weekend. Todd and Becky had "everything" in this home u could think of. This home is perfect for large groups. We took a load of pics and played some many game. Also the radio in the home was great. Speakers were threw out the house with its on controller on each floor and each room. I would love to visit on every family vacay???"

  • Family Reunion

"We used the Dahlgreen Road property as a home base for a family reunion. The home is located in a lovely neighborhood. The house had a great floor plan. The kitchen is large with dishes, pots and pans, glasses and flatware available for use. The bedrooms are a generous size with two full bathrooms upstairs. There is also a sleeper sofa in the sun room. There is a convenient half bathroom on the main level. With the bedrooms upstairs, those who went to sleep early were not disturbed by those who stayed up talking. The back yard is large with a deck and whirlpool. There was easy, quick access to local stores and restaurants. We could easily get to downtown Raleigh in 15 minutes without having to get on the freeway. The driveway is steep but we found we did not have problems with it. If you have a group of 6-8 people, this home can easily accommodate everyone."
