"We had a wonderful stay!! The house was clean, bright, and complete with everything we needed. There was so much to do on the lake from swimming, fishing to jet skiing. Our teens loved the kayaks, paddleboat, and rowboat especially. Thank you Jim and Viv for your hospitality and accommodating our dog too! We felt like family. We can't wait to return this fall to enjoy the canoe and foliage."

  • Outstanding Lake Norman Retreat/Resort

"I spent the last week of August at this wonderful Lodge. The place was everything it shows in the pictures - spacious, well kept, comfortable and very close to shopping and fine restaurants (Big Daddy's was outstanding). The owner's were very accommodating - easy to work with and responsive. 2 Kayaks came with the rental - they were well used by my family. I also chose to rent a 24' pontoon boat from this owner - it came with a 2 person tube which was drug behind the 120 hp outboard on the pontoon boat. Do not rent a Lake Norman Lakefront property without a boat - the lake is enormous, clean and a total blast when on the water."

  • Good vacation

"The house is as advertised. Great view and sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning was terrific. My only complaint is that we didn't get our entire deposit returned, with no explanation. And we left the place cleaner than we found it. Other than that it was a great vacation."

  • Charming! Comfortable! Convenient!

"There is a charming little studio tucked inside of a pretty, residential, golf course community in Pinehurst...and you've just found it! I rented this studio for a girls gets away with my sister in law and it was perfect for us! The area is safe and extremely convenient. There is a full kitchen for cooking which was wonderful for a coffee/hot pastry breakfast. And the kitchen is stocked with anything you could want, including wine glasses, etc. . The spring weather kept us sitting on the porch, most of the time, with a wonderful view of the 18th green. We had to keep reminding ourselves to hold the conversation down when golfers were at the T-Box. That's how close you are! The area is fairly quiet and no one was loud or disturbing in any way. In fact, the birds are wonderful here and it's a fantastic place to walk, in early mornings, on the cart paths. The studio bed is very comfortable and the sofa provides a 2nd full size bed. Linens are provided along with towels. I can't honestly imagine any hotel room being any more comfortable than this little hide away. It was all I had hoped for and more! There are rolling hills, even when parking, and a few steps to climb so this may not be suitable for people with walking disabilities. With that being said, this studio is ideal for 2 - 3 people. The Owner, Dave, is extremely accommodating and delightful to work with. I would highly recommend these accommodations to anyone and will certainly stay again on my next Pinehurst/Southern Pines trip!"
