"Our family of 5 had a great relaxing week at the lake. This home was located in a quiet cove where we enjoyed seeing heron, egrets, and bald eagles, swimming off the dock and catching catfish at night. My two high school boys and college son enjoyed the two kayaks and our family loved the pontoon boat. We fished many coves around the lake catching large mouth bass, white bass and bream and just enjoyed sightseeing too. The largest bass we caught was 5 pounds! The house was great! It was very clean and well maintained. I appreciated the linens and towels plus trash bags and paper products being provided. Meant that we did not have to bring as much stuff with us. We all enjoyed shooting pool and playing ping pong downstairs and had plenty of room to spread out too. The kitchen was well equipped and laid out great. It was nice to have an extra refrigerator downstairs too. The house has a very new efficient washer and dryer that made it possible to come home with clean clothes! John the owner was very easy to deal with and available to answer all questions before we arrived and after. We also took a side trip into Asheboro to visit the zoo and had a great time there. My husband and sons played the Old North State Golf Course with a family friend which was a treat too. We went to the Badin Lake Restaurant one morning for great pancakes, omlettes and french toast. A nice family diner style restaurant. Can't wait to go back!"Guest: Ann Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 14, 2014View listing
"This condo was perfect for my wife, son and I. With two bedrooms and two baths, we had plenty of room. The decor and furniture was beautiful and new. Everything was spotless. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The location is 10 minutes from downtown Pinehurst but nice and quiet. We didn't use the pool but people were in it daily. We played the Grey Fox course and thought it was awesome. The condo owners obviously take pride in their property. We would definitely stay there again."Guest: Kevin W. "Enjoyed our stay, especially the quiet and peaceful location that gave us some time to unwind and enjoy that nature. There are beautiful trails and easy hikes nearby, and the lake views from the home are wonderful. The cabin has a very rustic feel which we appreciated and the beds were incredibly comfortable! The only thing we missed having was our pup that we left behind in Texas."Guest: DM Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: December 11, 2013View listing
