  • relaxing vacation

"We stayed for 4 nights with 7 adults. This was tight but doable. The house is nice wuth a big screened-in porch where we ate our meals. The rest of the time was spent on the dock fishing and swimming. We also rented a pontoon from the marina and spent 8 hours having fun swimming and riding an inner tube. We would come back for sure. The owners were easy to deal with. All in all, a great vacation. The only drawback was little to no cell phone service."

  • Where do I begin to describe this.....EXPERIENCE

"I just came back from this wonderful vacation Sunday and am already looking forward to going back. My friend Sue and I met my two daughters for a wonderful, relaxing, rejuvenating vacation. It was only five days (wish it could have been longer) but it was all I could have hoped. Martha is a great host who manages to have everything at your disposal. The only thing we needed were our groceries, laundry soap, and I forgot my toothbrush; oops :( She has books, and games and magazines, a binder with places to eat and visit and explore, she even has a map located under glass at the kitchen table of Lake Wiley. There were two bedrooms but she also had a cot and an air mattress at your disposal. Everything else you could need was provided. I spent mornings with my coffee on the deck watching the heron catch his/her breakfast. We went canoeing, boating/tubing (on a friends boat), enjoyed the water on floats. Sat in the swing reading and watching the birds and boats and Jet Skis go by. Spent a morning at The Outlets (great deals) and I don't even like to shop, enjoyed a few local restaurants that my daughter recommended that were excellent. Coming back from dinner one night we saw probably 15 deer on the side of the road grazing. We enjoyed the grill one evening and dinner on the deck. The weather held out and we had 5 PERFECT days of nothing but relaxing, reading, eating and taking lots of pictures and making memories. If we would have had more time, we would have gone fishing and biking~~next time. Thank you Martha and Randy. Hope to be back again. Wish there were a place to post photos~~I have so many. The sunsets were just breathtaking!!! Until next time :)"

  • Great Location

"Great house and perfect for all 7 of us to stay. Close to all the great golf courses. Wives had a great time exploring the shopping, wineries and all the pottery. House was clean and John the owner was a big help with recommendations for things to do."
