"This property provided an excellent resting spot for a relaxing week at Lake Gaston. The description was accurate but did not do the property justice. The views are amazing!
The home was clean and well maintained. Anne Marie was responsive and helpful in the weeks before our trip to answer all questions and give us all the information we needed prior to arrival. Perfect getaway for those that love the water and all that implies!
The stairs back and forth to the boat dock might prove difficult for small children, elderly visitors, or those with disabilities. Lack of Wi-Fi might prove difficult for teenagers and some adults!"

"We stayed at this beautiful lake front house for the week of July 12 -18, 2015. We vacationed with three families from ages 15-72. The house is beautiful and spacious.... plenty of room for everyone plus more. Most of us never left the lake house. We spent hours in the lake every day floating in a tubes, playing in the water, jumping from the dock. The water is very deep which allowed for great jumping and dives! The owner supplied a canoe, single kayak and tandem kayak and we brought two single kayaks as well plus an inflatable boat. We took early morning and late evening trips in the kayaks. Plenty of areas to explore on the north side of lizard creek and this area was not busy with boats and jet skis. We rented a pontoon boat from Stonehouse Marina on the last day (they had the best price and were the most helpful). This gave us an opportunity to tour the lake and go through the culvert to get to the house. It was a tight squeeze but we did it and have a blast taking most everyone tubing. The evenings were spent relaxing, either reading a book by the lake, playing corn hole or playing board/card games. We also played some competitive games of ping pong and foosball. We shared delicious meals on the deck. The kitchen was well stocked and met all our needs. We even did some grilling and made a fire and had smores one night. We found fishing for catfish is best in the late late evening. My son is bass fisherman and didn't have any luck with bass. Some of the guys went golfing one day. The Food Lion grocery store is extremely close as well and the ABC store and Dollar General. The bed in the bed in the master bedroom (which I slept in was super comfy)The owner was very responsive to us and very accommodating. The house is well maintained and clean. We had no complaints from anyone the entire week. Only wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend this house to all!"

"Our family has enjoyed our 2nd year at this impeccably clean and well stocked house. It is spacious and has a lovely screened in porch. It is located on a small quiet cove but close enough to more open water for kayaking adventures.
The property has a gentle sloping front lawn that leads to a very well kept deck and boat dock. It affords great playing areas for little ones. We used the tubes and rafts and kayaks. Also had fun playing corn hole .
As you can tell, this house has something for everyone!! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Cooking was even fun in the open kitchen!!"
