"We found this house while looking for a "midway" point to meet my Marine son and his family prior to them being deployed overseas. Excellent large house and living area. Very clean with all of the necessary amenities for carefree home away from home. Outdoor grill was nice and under cover from rain, nice TV's, comfortable furniture, great back patio and view. Bad weather for golf initially, but I stayed the extra day to get a round in. Scott went out of his way to insure our comfort and convenience Thanks for a great stay at your very relaxing home. We are all blessed by our freedom in America!"Guest: Robin P. Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: December 8, 2013View listing
"My husband and I attended the Women's Open in Pinehurst and wanted a comfortable home base. We got so much more. We rented this charming carriage house right in the village for 2 weeks and couldn't have chosen a better spot. We walked to the village each morning for breakfast and then on to the tournament. You can't beat the Villager Deli for breakfast and/or lunch. The owner of the Carriage house was so accommodating for all of our needs, very gracious. The house is decorated with the owner's art and makes it feel so much like a real home away from home. We actually used both floors of the house since our kids were joining us for the 2nd week and we wanted a 2nd full bath. Both floors are beautiful. When we return to Pinehurst, this will definitely be our spot. You couldn't find anything lovelier."Guest: Dianne Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 4, 2014View listing
"I just returned from a trip to Griff's Place in late July. Wonderful, beautiful, peaceful, fantastic. There are not enough adjectives to describe how special Griff's Place is. It was exactly what I wanted and more. Griff's comes with a fully stocked kitchen, linens, books, movies, games and extra comfy blankets and pillows for the couch. I couldn't have asked for anything else. I haven't had such a relaxing, peaceful vacation in a long time and Griff's Place did the trick. It's tranquil but welcoming/joyous and I enjoyed both my quiet mornings reading on the upstairs deck and everlasting memories with good friends on the patio in the afternoon and evenings overlooking the lake. It's private and cozy but full of life and I'm grateful to have experienced it. To Martha, thank you! Not only was the home immaculate, you've made it welcoming and soothing in every way possible. I adored you immediately and hope we continue to see each other on what is now my new annual retreat to a little slice of heaven."Guest: DianaLynnKozak Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 29, 2014View listing
