  • Second Stay

"Back for a second time. Pleased to see that the quality has been maintained. This time Charlotte was going through a cold snap and all the heating systems were well used and efficient. Clean and Safe place as a base for visiting Charlotte."

  • Thanksgiving Meeting Place

"We found this house while looking for a "midway" point to meet my Marine son and his family prior to them being deployed overseas. Excellent large house and living area. Very clean with all of the necessary amenities for carefree home away from home. Outdoor grill was nice and under cover from rain, nice TV's, comfortable furniture, great back patio and view. Bad weather for golf initially, but I stayed the extra day to get a round in. Scott went out of his way to insure our comfort and convenience Thanks for a great stay at your very relaxing home. We are all blessed by our freedom in America!"

  • Wonderful Vacation House!

"Our family stayed at this wonderful house for our 2014 summer vacation and a great time was had by all! The house was spacious and clean! The beds were so comfortable! Laundry facilities terrific! Everyone enjoyed swimming in the pool and taking our boats out and swimming in the lake! A particular highlight was jumping off the platform into the lake!! Tony couldn't be more helpful and was a pleasure to deal with both before and during our stay. We loved the new firepit overlooking the lake! Thank you Tony! It really was a super house for our family to spend wonderful quality family time together!!"

  • Would rate this 10 stars if I could!

"We had such a great time - our family was moving from California to NC and stayed here 6 weeks. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the fireplace, the awesome kitchen and bar area, the deck and porches, and of course the truly peaceful surroundings and stunning view. Could not have asked for more from the owners, who were very nice and worked with us in every way. Can't say enough good things.....thank you, thank you!"

Mount Airy Travel Tips

Mount Airy Vacation Rentals Take You Back to Mayberry

Mount Airy's claim to fame is as the "real life" Mayberry, the town where The Andy Griffith Show took place. Year round you can have a pork sandwich at Snappy Lunch or grab a bag of sweets from Opie's Candy Shop. There is even an Andy Griffith Museum that is worth a visit for entertainment buffs. Annually held in September, Mayberry Days celebrates locally born Andy Griffith and the town that was the inspiration for Mayberry with festivities for all ages.

Mount Airy Vacation Rentals Are Close to Great Events

Live Bluegrass is a regular Saturday morning affair in Downtown Mount Airy and, in October, the Autumn Leaves Festival showcases local Bluegrass and Gospel musicians, artisans with unique crafts, and soul food served up with southern hospitality. There are over two dozen wineries close to your Mount Airy vacation house, including The Old North State Winery right in downtown, which is the only winery that is also a microbrewery in North Carolina.

Nature's Bounty Sits at the Doorstep of Mount Airy Vacation Houses

North Carolina Heartland vacation homes put you close to some of the best outdoor action in the state. Located at the bottom of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Mount Airy vacation houses make it easy to get outside and play. Just fifteen minutes from your Mount Airy vacation rental is the Blue Ridge Parkway, a 469-mile road that boasts beautiful fall foliage, spring wildflower blossoms, and recreational opportunities along the road in all seasons, including fishing, hiking, biking, swimming, and viewing Cherokee heritage exhibits.

Canoe or kayak on the Yadkin River with Yadkin River Adventures, pick your own cherries at Levering Orchard, or fish in Tumbling Rock Reservoir. Less than an hour's drive away are Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock state parks, which feature even more fun in the fresh air.
