"My husband and I stayed here for a family reunion. Everyone else was at the Carolina Inn or Manor Inn. We loved the ability to make breakfast and stroll the golf paths. The birds were wonderful and we even saw a turtle laying eggs. Yet, we walked to the old town of Pinehurst in minutes and saw some beautiful homes. While not big, the condo is perfectly equipped. Plus, the decor is not cookie cutter--there's interesting furniture and art. The little porch is nice for coffee. My husband says the tv is good too! Thanks."

"This was a golf outing for four friends from the Brevard, NC area - three of whom had never been to Pinehurst. The home was very much what we expected in terms of comfort and convenience.
The owner was very responsive to our issues - and very nice about them as well.
Two comments: 1) The property is listed as a 2.5 bath home. When we got there we discovered there were three full baths - 2 downstairs and 1 upstairs. The bath in the downstairs hallway had an old tub with shower curtain. The first night we arrived one of the guys took a shower in that bath. When he finished, he could not get the tub water to shutoff - there was a continuous trickle that we could not get to stop. When I emailed the owner (his preferred method of contact) about the situation, he said that he thought the water had been turned off to that tub and that is why he lists the home as 3BR-2.5BA. However, we had no idea that there was a problem with that bathroom - there was nothing on the website to inform us. 2) The TV and sound system in the living room has 4 remotes. The owner did provide instructions on how to operate the system. However, the 2nd day we were there we could not get the system to come on - at least not on any TV settings or DVD (DVD operated without sound). We followed the owner's advice about restarting the system, including unplugging the replugging the entire system. Still nothing. On our 3rd day (after a call to the owner) he came by and was able to get it working again. The TV in the downstairs master badroom never came on....
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others. Just be aware that it is an old property and &quot;things&quot; can go wrong."
