  • Great Cabin!!

"The house was a great winter retreat with the fireplace and inside hot tub. Due to the time of the year and weather, we did not experience any lake activities but this house seems to be equipped with everything you would need to enjoy the lake any time of year......thanks for the special accommodation Martina:-)"

  • Couldn't have been better!

"Outstanding home with a great view. Large rooms to accommodate eight golfers. The owners secured us tee times at Pinehurst #4 thirty days in advance. We just returned last night and look forward to going back. Don't pass up the chance to stay here."

  • Wonderful week at the lake!

"Our family of 5 had a great relaxing week at the lake. This home was located in a quiet cove where we enjoyed seeing heron, egrets, and bald eagles, swimming off the dock and catching catfish at night. My two high school boys and college son enjoyed the two kayaks and our family loved the pontoon boat. We fished many coves around the lake catching large mouth bass, white bass and bream and just enjoyed sightseeing too. The largest bass we caught was 5 pounds! The house was great! It was very clean and well maintained. I appreciated the linens and towels plus trash bags and paper products being provided. Meant that we did not have to bring as much stuff with us. We all enjoyed shooting pool and playing ping pong downstairs and had plenty of room to spread out too. The kitchen was well equipped and laid out great. It was nice to have an extra refrigerator downstairs too. The house has a very new efficient washer and dryer that made it possible to come home with clean clothes! John the owner was very easy to deal with and available to answer all questions before we arrived and after. We also took a side trip into Asheboro to visit the zoo and had a great time there. My husband and sons played the Old North State Golf Course with a family friend which was a treat too. We went to the Badin Lake Restaurant one morning for great pancakes, omlettes and french toast. A nice family diner style restaurant. Can't wait to go back!"

  • Beautiful House. View, and Landlords

"The house and the view of the lake was outstanding. House was absolutely, totally furnished with everything you need except your food. The view to Lake Wylie was fantastic. Definitely suggest you bring your boat, if possible. Even though, it was rather isolated, I would highly recommend it for a vacation stay. The landlords were down home type folks and were available for any areas of concern at a moment's notice and were eager to make your stay as pleasant as it could be."
