  • It's All About the View

"With a View -- it's always the top of my list for a vacation rental home. This home's view is stunning! -- not to mention a beautiful home. The home is very spacious -- my husband and I only utilized the main level of the home and did not use the lower level of the home at all. It was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. We could not have asked for more. The home is located between the Asheville and Cherokee areas making traveling to either approximately an hour each way. We visited the Museum of the Cherokee Indian in Cherokee, the NC Arboreteum and the Biltmore in Asheville, the Wheels of Time Museum in Maggie Valley and rode the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad in Bryson City. The Biltmore was the highlight of the sites; however, in my opinion, our view from the deck of the home was the highlight of the trip. We had breakfast in the morning out on the deck as well as dinner in the evenings. The mountain and valley views were everchanging and the sunsets were spectacular. We also had the good luck to see the elk in the area of the Great Smokey Mountain National Park closest to the home. The drive up to the rental is approximately 10 minutes off of the main road; however, it is paved all the way with the exception of the last 1/2 mile which is gravel. You will not go wrong renting this home and will remember your stay for years to come."

  • Fall Trip

"This is a great home that has been equipped and maintained beautifully. We were a group of four golfing couples. 'The owners were very accommodating and even provided a special rate for us at their private Trillium Country Club which is both beautiful and challenging. Dining privileges at this club were also available at the clubhouse which made lunches and dinners readily available without the necessity to drive the dark and somewhat curving roads nearby. Will likely request another trip next year."

  • Outstanding stay

"We were in the Ashville area for a wedding over the weekend. 4 couples shared this home and made the drive into downtown Ashville each day for the wedding events. The home was well maintained and very comfortable. The views were spectacular. The drive to Ashville was only about 15 minutes and very easy. A great place for friends or family to share a little quite time in the mountains with great access to the all the happenings of Ashville. I would stay here again in the future."

  • Great family vacation

"The cabin was everything that we hoped for. The kitchen was fully furnished. The laundry facilities were excellent. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the back porch and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit in the back yard was a delight. Everything that we needed was provided. Our two boys loved the loft. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to the beautiful rushing mountain stream while having morning coffee. It was within walking distance of Maggie Valley and only a short drive to Cherokee and the casino. We would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting the perfect mountain vacation."
