  • weekend getaway

"beautiful place to spend a weekend...the snow didnt hurt either. all the amenitites that you need. one thing that you may need to think of is that the driveway is steep with sharp terms and is gravel. our car was AWD so we had no trouble...but it is something to think about....we will definately go back to mountain view."

  • We loved the peaceful porch

"Our family including me, my wife, two little ones under 5, and a blind dog, stayed at the cabin for a solid week. We loved the feel of the cabin. The porch was safe for all our little ones and the creek was sooooooooooo relaxing to listen to anytime. The cabin was ideal because it was located less than two hours from chatanooga and asheville. But I think the best part was no matter where we went, the mountains were cascading in every direction. On the 11 hour carride back home that was what we all kept commenting on what we would miss the most was the mountains."

  • Family Vacation

"We spent a wonderful week at the Moose Crossing Cabin. We were looking for an affordable rental in Andrews where we were coming to visit old friends. Our family consists of myself, my husband, our 3 year old and our 18month old. I read all of the reviews and then contacted Pat about renting the cabin. It immediately became clear why people speak so highly of Pat. Even from our first email, it was clear that she is very kind, very professional and very thoughtful. She secured our dates and provided us with some info about the cabin and very detailed driving directions. We arrived at the cabin and were greeted by Pat. She was just as warm and friendly as I imagined she would be. She welcomed us and let us know that she is available if we needed anything. The cabin is so cute. It is well decorated, spotlessly clean, and has absolutely every comfort of home. There is a book with lots of great info about the cabin, the town of Andrews and menus for local restaurants. The fridge was stocked with an awesome array of breakfast goodies and Pat, knowing that we were traveling with our kids, even provide S'mores fixings for the children! The cabin has absolutely everything you may need for your stay. I mean everything. Pat's thoughtfulness certainly shows through in everything she does. The view from the deck in the morning is beautiful. Everywhere you go in Andrews you have a gorgeous mountain view. The back deck is where we had breakfast every morning and it is a fantastic little private space to enjoy coffee in your pjs. Our 18 month old still sleeps in a crib so we brought a small portable crib for him and Pat set up a cot for my 3 year old in the bedroom. I could've easily slept in that cot all week! It was so comfortable, as was the actual bed. Our entire stay was wonderful. Very relaxing (as relaxing as anything can be with a 3 year old and a toddler). I am actually sad knowing that the next time we stay in Andrews our children may be to big for us to be able to stay in the Moose Crossing cabin, but if me and my hubby ever manage to get away for a romantic weekend, this cabin will be on the top of our list of places to go! The town of Andrews is a great, peaceful little town. The Corner Coffee shop on Main Street is a fantastic coffee shop that does their own small batch roasting. I also recommend the Burger Basket and Monte Alban (get anything with carnitas! Mmm). Also Dean's on Main st. He showcases his an other localartists artworks."
