  • Peaceful Haven

"Some of our family had to travel three days early to Andrews for my son's wedding. We chose to stay at Wicklow before we moved over to Hawkesdene. We loved the wicklow property! There were cherry blossoms all over the gravel drive making for great pre-wedding pictures. the view from the fire pit was so beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed the goats, especially the baby and the donkeys. But the thing we liked most of all was Emma, the owner's sweet dog who spent every waking minute with the little boys in our group. We still miss and talk about Emma a month later. The house was clean and comfy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend if you want to escape to a secluded mountain paradise. We didn't want to leave!"

  • What a get away!

"Used this cabin as a base to tour Cherokee and the surrounding areas. Close to town but far enough out to be quiet. It was just like the pictures and the whole family liked it, especially our teen age granddaughters. Beautiful and serene."

  • weekend getaway

"beautiful place to spend a weekend...the snow didnt hurt either. all the amenitites that you need. one thing that you may need to think of is that the driveway is steep with sharp terms and is gravel. our car was AWD so we had no trouble...but it is something to think about....we will definately go back to mountain view."

  • Absolutely perfect!

"My son would like to give the Moose Crossing a thousand stars. It was a highlight of our vacation. The cabin was lovely, clean, organized, and very comfortable for me and my 2 kids. Our host was beyond accommodating. She provided everything we could possibly need and then some. We loved roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, (thank you again for helping a tired mama get that fire going). We were very happy to be close to town and walking distance to the winery, which has live music on Thurs and Sat. It was a fabulous stay for us and we hope to do it again next summer."
