  • Peaceful Weekend

"I searched the internet for hours and hours over several weeks looking for an affordable weekend getaway for my husband and I. Moose Cabin was BY FAR the most affordable I could find and Pat is the most hospitable person you'll meet! We arrived on Friday to a stocked fridge of breakfast foods and even treats for our 2 fur babies. It's so very hard to find a great pet friendly place to stay and she thoroughly cleans and launders everything between guests, so you would never have known another dog had ever stayed there. It was super clean and stocked with lots of firewood (she had already started the fire for us before we arrived). A super short walk from the cabin is the smallest functional winery & brewery in the USA. Pat and Patrick bring hordevores and his awesome pizza to the winery on Saturdays for guests to munch on. Such a wonderful time. So thankful to have found them and will be returning! :)"

  • A Week on the Farm

"I couldn't have possibly enjoyed my stay more! Wicklow Woods was enchanting. I had lunches on the patio with sweet Emma and Mason, fed the super friendly goats and the donkeys, and sat on the dock and read a book. The people in Andrews were friendly and I recommend you stop by the Burger Basket and Corner Coffee. Also Robin provided a "secret" scenic driving tour that was absolutely wonderful. Everyone should take this drive. The kitchen was more than functional, but keep in mind there is no toaster. The queen size bed is firm, but not too firm. I would definitely go back and stay again. This is a much better value than a hotel, and you can't beat the view! Perfect for couples, or single travelers like myself."

  • Too short Of A Stay :]

"We only stayed two days and it wasn't enough. Hot tub was amazing for my low back pain and loved the sound of the creek close by. I don't recommend taking a little sports car up here though. My husband thought it would be fun to bring our little Miata for all the winding roads, which was fun, but it was not great for actually getting to the cabin. Driving through the little creek (though shallow) was not great for that car. I would bring a regular sized car or bigger. It rained about all day both days we were there so we didn't get to do too much exploring outside the cabin, but with puzzles, games, and movies we bought, there was plenty to do. It was also nice not having really any cell phone signal or wifi, we were able to just live in the moment. So if you're trying to get work done while away, this isn't the place."

  • Perfect!

"My husband and I had a lovely weekend at High Rock View. Matthew was very accommodating and the whole cabin was well appointed with thoughtful touches and instructions. The road in was shockingly steep, but we drove a hyundai accent up there no problem and it is by no means a strong car. And yes, there were lots of ladybugs, but the 'ladybug pickup' dustbuster was a perfect solution. The hot tub was perfect and the view was breathtaking. It was a wonderful relaxing weekend for the two of us. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!"
