  • Awesome!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying in this wonderful cottage. The view from the very private deck was spectacular--the downtown Asheville skyline nestled in the mountains to the left and a beautiful mountain view to the right. The cottage was extremely clean and the owners, Ben and Connie, were friendly and helpful (but never intrusive). This will be our "go-to" Asheville place to stay from now on!"

  • Excellent Loft/Condo in the Perfect Location

"My wife and I love going to Asheville - so much to do, so much local, great food, beer, wine, shopping. I found Jean's place for a surprise anniversary trip. Hotels were expensive and sometimes not in great locations. Jean's condo is in the best part of downtown - you can walk to just about anything within 5-10 minutes. The Great: - Great location - Very clean - A good size (while it's a 1 BD, a third and fourth person could sleep on the pull out sofa) - A well supplied kitchen - including extra dish soap, paper towels, though I'm not sure this was because the owners supplied it or previous renters left it The Bad: - If you don't like city-noise at night (sirens, people, etc), this may not be the place for you. But this should be expected downtown. This said, you only hear this in the living room and kitchen area - you can't hear this noise from the bedroom, so it's easy to sleep in relative peace and quiet. Safe parking is across the street in a reasonably priced deck ($10 a day). Given the condo pricing, you're still paying less than most of the decent hotels in downtown including this extra cost of parking. The building has an elevator to get you up and down if you need it, and her condo is well appointed for a short or long stay. Good towels, sheets, solid kitchen pans/utensils (no dirt-cheap, 30 year old pots/pans here), and there are even a couple growlers so you can get beer refilled at the restaurant downstairs. It boasts a good city view and great mountain view. It's walking distance to multiple excellent restaurants and bars, coffee shops, chocolatiers, shopping, and all of the breweries* in downtown. Unless you only want to walk to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning, you'll have to drive about 5 minutes up the road to get groceries (if groceries are in your plans), and you're still close to some excellent things north of downtown like Grove Park Inn and Spa (less than 10 minute drive). The drive to Biltmore Village and Biltmore Estate are also less than a 10 minute drive down the road, and the very cool River Arts District is about 2 miles away - a little hike if you're going to walk, but not unreasonable. We highly recommend the loft and intend on using it any time we plan to stay in Asheville. *I'm not sure if it's actually in walking distance of ALL breweries in DT, but it's darn near all of them at the time of this review."

  • Simply Perfect

"A wonderful and comfortable escape where our days began with beautiful morning sunrises and the tinkling bells of happy goats. We loved the serenity of Moore's Farm and enjoyed meeting our friendly hosts, Chuck and Sarah, who introduced us to the workings of their farm. It was fun to meet their goats and their llama, Velvet, the amazing "goat guard". After a day of hiking and sightseeing it was great to come back to the guest house and relax and where we made most of our evening meals in the well equipped kitchen. At some point each day we hiked the trails behind the guest house with our dog who loved the freedom of being off leash. Ashville was easily accessed as was the beautiful scenic area with incredible vistas. It was an idyllic vacation for us and we hated to leave. Quincy, our dog, gives it " 2 thumbs up" Thanks Chuck and Sarah"

"Book this beautiful cabin ASAP. My husband and I came here last week for our honeymoon and we didn't want to leave at the end. The house is gorgeous, super clean, and has everything you need. Beautiful view, great hiking trails, and close to downtown! We will be back for sure. Asheville is the place to be!"
