"We loved staying at Red Gate Cottage and hope to come back soon. It was our first visit to Asheville and the cottage was very convenient to downtown shopping and grocery store. Every amenity we could think of was there and all five of us loved it, especially the hot tub and porch with chiminea. We had fresh baked cookies and a bottle of wine waiting on us when we arrived! We will definitely stay there on our next visit to Asheville!"

"We had a wonderful time not only at the festival but in the city. This is a fun and funky place to come and being downtown made it even better. The loft was perfect for four people. We parked the car and never got in it until we left. There was never a problem with plenty to do since you are in the center of town with shops, food options and plenty of places to just enjoy the street entertainers. The loft is perfect and the owner answered all my questions before we arrived. It was a perfect time with friends. I am ready to come back but would never choose a hotel over this great place to stay."

"My family of five from St Pete Beach, FL met one of my best friend's family of 6 from Avondale, PN for 4 nights... perfect half way meeting spot. The barn was located directly behind a large home on the property, so we got a little confused upon arriving as we thought the road dead-ended into someone else's property. Even though the house was close by, we felt completely as if we were the only ones around... except for the two dogs, cat and two horses that instantly became our new friends. The inside of the barn was just as it appeared in the photos. The game room was perfect for the kids and the outside deck and spa was a huge hit for everyone. Yes, it was dark inside as all of the reviews mentioned, but it was perfectly fine. The kids played football, tag, etc in the large yard and fed the horses carrots. We hiked the path directly across the driveway... yes, it does end back at the main road and is worth the long, up-hill hike. It was beautiful! Downtown Asheville and the Biltmore were a short 15-20 minute drive away. We did Zen Tubing on the French Broad... bring plenty of food, drinks and adult drinks in your cooler. Make sure you do white water rafting/zip lining at the French Broad Adventures and stop in Marshall on your way back and eat at The Sweet Monkey- the chicken sandwich is AMAZING! We hiked to Crabtree Falls which was so pretty... but that was a long drive away. At night we drank wine around the fire pit and relaxed on the deck. We saw turkey, deer and cows on the property too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the barn house.
Upon leaving, we wanted to clean up a bit, but couldn't find a vacuum cleaner or cleaning supplies.
We would highly recommend this property!"

"The Cozy Cottage is perfectly located in downtown Asheville. Once we arrived for our three-night stay, our cars stayed parked, as we were able to walk to everything. Easy access to great restaurants and many of Asheville's breweries allowed us to enjoy it all, without the transportation hassle.
Our group of road cyclists was able to map out a few good rides leaving from the Cozy Cottage. One in particular took us up to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Pisgah Lodge. This is a great area for avid cyclists.
Thanks to Carl and Terri for the use of their wonderful cottage. We are already discussing a return trip!"
