  • Divine!

"Four of the most wonderful vacation days we've ever had! Not only in terms of aesthetics, as the cottage is nestled in the mountains with exceptional views, but also because of our hosts, who were as warm, generous and respectful as one could ask. The cottage itself is a masterpiece, unique by the abundance of authentic art, from the beautiful paintings to the detailed floors and shower, even the large window views are spectacular, absolutely amazing. There's access to incredible hiking right outside your door, as well as a beautiful garden maintained by the owners, and a horse and pony to boot! We even strolled into town, which is picturesque, the people are incredibly friendly, just don't forget to wave! Asheville is about a half hour drive, and it's a magnificent trek through some of the most beautiful countryside I've ever seen. I could go on and on. I'm looking forward to planning another trip, I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else."

  • Every possible thing you would want and more!

"I have rented a lot of houses on VRBO and this has to be one of the best. The owner goes above and beyond to meet your needs. There was fresh bread baking when we arrived and fresh eggs in the refrigerator! The house is charming and rustic but with every modern convenience- three large bathrooms, two large televisions, free wifi, comfortable beds, and a well stocked kitchen. Beautifully decorated as well. Right down the road is a charming Amish grocery store with incredible baked goods. I will rent again if I am back in the Asheville area."

  • Pet vacation!!

"My husband and I drove ALL THE WAY from Nova Scotia with our 3 dogs to attend the UKI US Nationals - a competitive dog agility event - just a stone's throw away from Cloud 9 Relaxation!! We were fortunate enough to explore the hiking trails before the big event - but we didn't get to hike the longest trail - next time! The house was clean with so many perks - big tv, full kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, multiple bedrooms...and more!! It was such a treat to have a house all to ourselves after a long day of dog sports!! Everything was close by! The property was quiet and even had chickens (don't worry - we didn't let the dogs go near the chickens!!). We look forward to next year already!!"

  • Wonderful time!

"We had such a wonderful time! My family lives far away from each other so we really cherish times we do get to spend with one another. The barn was beautiful! It had everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfast together, was comfy, and had enough to keep you entertained for days. My favorite part was all the farm animals! The family was so nice and their son introduced us to the animals. My 16 month nephew just had a blast seeing the baby pigs, chickens, horses and 700 pound pigs that they let us feed apples to! Now he can't stop saying "apple!" "pig!" Overall, it was such an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it!"
