  • Great location!

"We loved this house! It is close to Asheville, grocery stores and a great little restaurant called the Local Joint. But you still feel like you're out in the country, secluded and surrounded by outstanding views. Although we didn't need it, the downstairs suite would be great for families with teenagers or as a mother-in-law area. The house is well-appointed and very comfortable and very clean. The owner is very responsive, helpful and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again! If you're in the area on a Saturday, be sure to make a reservation to take the "Chocolate Tour" at French Broad Chocolates - only $10 and a fun and tasty tour!"

  • Perfect Weekend Getaway Spot in Asheville!

"My group of girlfriends are now spread all over the country and we decided to reunite in Asheville for a little reunion! The Red Gate Cottage was the perfect venue for a quiet weekend spent catching up, cooking, and exploring Asheville. The cottage is so cozy with beautifully decorated rooms, an awesome fireplace, nicely updated bathrooms, well-appointed kitchen, and plenty of towels etc. We had a rainy weekend so unfortunately we couldn't utilize the fire-pit, or chiminea, but we did love the jacuzzi tucked around the back side of the cottage. The location was great, close to grocery stores (as we forgot things and needed to run out last minute), and an easy drive to downtown. Georgia is a wonderful hostess as well! Communication with her leading up to our stay was easy, and then we were greeted with fresh (delicious!!) cookies, and wine on our arrival! I would definitely recommend this adorable little cottage for a visit to Asheville and would love to stay again if I ever make another trip!"

  • Great times, great house!

"We loved the aesthetic of this mountain side home. The views were lovely and we really enjoyed the wrap around porch and hot tub. It was a perfect place for our girls getaway! The only downside of this property were the thin walls. We would definitely recommended this house to others!"

  • Asheville Rocked!

"What a gem this house is! The location is perfect, the house is inviting and comfortable- the backyard a haven. What appears to be an unassuming place when you first roll into the driveway is quickly revealed to be a fantastic spot to relax and recharge. We spent so much time exploring all that Asheville has to offer- I plan to be back with my dogs and wife soon! Don't miss this awesome retreat!"
