  • Amazing Home, Amazing location, and views!!

"We just returned from a 4 day stay at Barclay and Rick's Asheville home. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to spend our long weekend away. The house is about 7 minutes from the downtown area, where there are some fabulous restaurants and brew pubs. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival and he showed us around the house and was super helpful with any questions we may have had. The house was fully stocked with anything we needed as far as linens, pots, pans, etc. You can see many mountains from just about every room in the house. The home was immaculately clean, and we loved using the wood burning fireplace each evening. They also have a great deck to enjoy your morning coffee and the views. I especially loved the collection of artwork throughout the house, very, very cool! We hope to return very soon! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway to the mountains as well as being very close to downtown."

  • beautiful home

"The house is lovely and the location is good, about 10 minutes from I-26 and shopping. If you're planning to use the single pullout bed in the den, I recommend bringing an air mattress to cover the bed's mattress. It was extremely uncomfortable. I also recommend a sun umbrella for the deck. The sun is powerful at that altitude. We had a few issues on checkin, but the maagement firm was incredibly responsive and took care of them immediately. The house was very well stocked with non-perishibles and the beds were like new. The fire stove was not easy to light and we gave up after being unable to locate dry wood after the rain. We're very sorry the house is going off the market. We'd definitely book it next year."

  • Sweet Cottage with Wonderful Charm

"We stayed here for two nights with our family of 5. We had the pleasure of attending their breakfast one morning at the B&B and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our kids loved their playground and immense swing at their neighbor's house. Our trip to Asheville was fantastic and we would absolutely return."

  • Clean, Easy, Quiet, PERFECT

"This was our third stay at Holly Haven. As usual the apartment was clean and neat. Easy drive to Asheville. The property manager is fast and eager to answer questions. We will always stay here for any trip to the Asheville area. The space does NOT feel like a basement apartment - great windows for an open feeling. The property owner even left fresh baked banana bread- so kind!"
