"My third stay at Sunset Ridge because it is a perfect place to relax, enjoy the mountain views and is a ten minute drive to Ashevlle. Located at the top of a ridge in Fairview, this 2 bedroom 1 bath, with stocked kitchen, spacious deck & hot tub will not disappoint you. The drive up to the house is not difficult, no need for 4 wheel drive, although our car was AWD. The house is modern, comfortable and well appointed. Owners live upstairs and are delightful. Beautiful cool mornings enjoyed coffee on the deck, the evening sunsets bring an ever changing panoramic view. Easy access to I-40, Blue Ridge Parkway, Black Moutain, and surrounding areas. Great restaurants in Fairview and plenty of stores, amenities close by. Hated to leave and can't wait to go back !"

"We can't say enough about this charming home. We were looking for a convenient location that would be near all the great places we wanted to visit in Asheville for our brief stay and we found it with this property. The owners were great and welcomed us with a beautifully-decorated and clean home. We would hoghly recommend the house for two couples or a family of four to six."

"I really loved this cabin. My family (two adults, two kids) stayed here for one night between two far-apart destinations during a long trip, and it was truly restful, welcoming, and comfortable. The sauna is just right after a morning workout. Every little detail in the house is extremely well thought-out and planned; every appliance, device, fitting, fixture, what-have-you is beautiful and works very well. There was a funky and thoughtful collection of movies and music on hand for us to enjoy. I wish I'd stayed longer and done some cooking; the kitchen looked like I could have gone to town. Lots of utensils and dishes that one doesn't normally see in little rental places. I loved the smell of natural cleaning products -- the place was immaculate. Looking at all the thought that went into sustainability and low-impact living was entertaining and gave me some great ideas for my own home. Space is tight, but not cramped. It's efficient and fun. And beautiful."
