  • Truly amazing views

"The pictures do not do this cabin justice; the views are just incredible! The cabin is clean and very quiet, and we had no other needs or requests. Thank you for opening your home to us so that we could have this experience. Note to travelers: we are very glad that we drove an SUV and that there was no snow or slick rain – otherwise, we are afraid that we may not have made it up the mountain."

  • Wonderful time!

"We had such a wonderful time! My family lives far away from each other so we really cherish times we do get to spend with one another. The barn was beautiful! It had everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfast together, was comfy, and had enough to keep you entertained for days. My favorite part was all the farm animals! The family was so nice and their son introduced us to the animals. My 16 month nephew just had a blast seeing the baby pigs, chickens, horses and 700 pound pigs that they let us feed apples to! Now he can't stop saying "apple!" "pig!" Overall, it was such an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it!"

  • Excellent Weekend Getaway

"We booked the house to host my parent's 40th anniversary weekend and it did not disappoint. First, the place is absolutely beautiful and meticulously maintained. Even though it was an open floor plan, each common living space was self contained and did not intrude on any other area. There was ample room for adults and kids alike and they layout allowed us to tuck the kids away in the upstairs while the rest of us gathered on the lower level. The house is very private, but also reasonably accessible to downtown Asheville. All in all - it was the perfect mountain retreat for our family and we would absolutely look to use the house again for another event."

  • You made two sisters very happy!!

"What a FIND!! A great place for a Sister Weekend Getaway! A very pleasant home and perfectly priced too. When my sister and I read “Townhouse” we expected a complex, but... it is a free standing two-story duplex, side by side accommodations with friendly residents in the neighboring house. It is clean, and comfortably furnished.. the kitchen and laundry spaces supplied with what we needed at our finger tips made for a relaxed four days. We really wanted to just “move in!” The pictures on this page do not do it justice! Not far from attractions but yet ideally located for peace and quiet. We had an initial “issue” with the wifi, but a phone call and a quick fix by the “Mrs” and we were back in business.. and it worked great. We would definitely stay here again if the vacations plans are for this area."
