  • Charming Farmhouse!

"My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the O'Kelley's Farmhouse. My children couldn't get enough of the goats - they constantly wanted to find grass and flowers to feed them! The swing was a big hit with my older daughter - she was always challenging us to swing her higher. I farmhouse reminded me of my grandmother's home - the smell, the kitchen sink, and all the delightful decor around the home. It brought back wonderful memories of childhood. My family and I were able to enjoy roaming Asheville since we were just a short drive away, and we enjoyed a short hike through the woods from the house. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the farmhouse to friends. Thank you for sharing your home with us."

  • New Family Tradition!

"We were looking for a place to bring Thanksgiving to our son attending UNCA. The Black Bear Lodge was perfect-- the personal decorating touches and the rustic construction made it feel like we were staying with family. The location with the mountain brook babbling just outside the door and the lack of cell phone coverage made it the perfect family getaway."

  • Great family vacation!

"I was very impressed with our stay at Elevacres, it's even nicer than it looks in the pictures! It's private, great for extended families and not a bad drive to Asheville. It was very comfortable, and great for families with children. We had a great trip!"

  • AMAZING LOCATION! BEAUTIFUL SPACE!

"This was our first ever trip to Asheville and we lucked out BIG TIME by scoring this condo. The condo itself is beautiful- open , airy, high ceilings with skylights, great artwork and cool decor and AMAZING lighting throughout- it provided such a relaxing venue, and the rooftop deck is phenomenal, we disregarded any weather just to unwind on the deck!. There is a great sound system that also connects to the rooftop - how fun is that! The condo manages to feel both comfortable and homey despite the amazing decor. We only used one bed and I can confirm that it is VERY comfortable - I am not a fan of the sweat producing foam/posturepedic type and thankfully this is just an incredibly well padded, comfortable mattress. Though the kitchen is FULLY STOCKED -plates, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, etc - we didn't bother cooking because the location of this condo is spectacular - you can literally fall out the door and tumble into so many wonderful restaurants and eateries, it is ridiculous (Mela is a 1 minute walk). Pack Sqauare (the center square of Asheville) is less than a 5 minute walk - but you needn't go that far - if you choose not to! Also, the great music venues of Asheville are ALL within a 2 minute walk from this condo! Dennis, our host, was always available and helpful (thanks again Dennis for everything) - and the condo has wonderful security in place so that even those of us unaccustomed to city life can rest assured.. We've travelled and rented a great deal, and I believe this is the best experience we've ever had All in all, it was our 24th anniversary and our first trip here; Asheville is awesome, and so is this condo; and we feel so happy to have found this loft and to have had the good fortune to work with Dennis."

Asheville Travel Tips

Always Consider Asheville Rentals

Tucked away between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Great Smoky Mountains you will find the city of Asheville, North Carolina. All year long, Asheville has the best weather, which makes Asheville rentals very popular for any vacation, whether you are planning for the winter, spring, summer, or fall. Smoky Mountain cabin rentals are perfect for not only couples but the entire family. This broad appeal is perhaps the reason why Asheville cabins are always in such high demand.

Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals for the Cultural Experience

You may not have known, but Asheville is known as the “San Francisco of the East” which means it is a liberal, artsy, and cultural community. If you are into the new age way of life, you may want to book your Asheville rentals right away, as “Rolling Stone” magazine recently dubbed the city the “New Freak Capital” of America. Though it may sound like renting Asheville cabins will take you back to the 1970s with loads of hippies running around, nothing could be more off. Smoky Mountain cabin rentals are ideal for the young and the old, regardless of political positions, financial status, or interests.

National Park outside of Asheville Rentals

While you stay in Smoky Mountain cabin rentals there is no way you can not make time to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, just outside of Asheville. More than 10 million people visit it each year and are awed by its beauty and rich history. Among the rugged mountains are historic homesteads and thousands of different plants and animals.

Asheville Cabins Allow You to Get to Know Nature

Waking up in your Asheville rentals to crisp blue skies every morning will surely make you want to spend some time in the great outdoors. Renting Asheville cabins on your own will allow you the freedom (and plenty of opportunity) to take advantage of your beautiful surroundings. Feel free to not only go sightseeing, but picnicking with the kids, hiking on the 800 miles of trails, fishing, horseback riding, bird-watching, and camping. And do not forget your camera, as there are numerous majestic views to photograph.
