  • Great family vacation!

"I was very impressed with our stay at Elevacres, it's even nicer than it looks in the pictures! It's private, great for extended families and not a bad drive to Asheville. It was very comfortable, and great for families with children. We had a great trip!"

  • Spectacular House and Views

"Six of us that are friends since childhood stayed at the Mountaintop Estate for our annual reunion. We were all turning 50 this year. I have rented at least 10 places through VRBO, Homeaway, Airbnb etc. and this has to be the nicest place I have rented. From the fully stocked kitchen with many extras like spices, oils, and all the general staples that you would have in your own kitchen to the immaculate Jacuzzi with individual chlorine bags to put in after each use, this house had all of the conveniences. The view from both the deck and the Jacuzzi below was beautiful. The owners were very responsive and nice to deal with. Asheville is a great city with amazing restaurants (try Curate for dinner and Salsa's for lunch) and plenty to do nearby. We whitewater rafted on the Pigeon river (Nantahala Outdoor Center is great for that), hiked in Pisgah, and even found a nearby school field to have a Frisbee catch. The only caveat is the climb up the mountain is steep so you need a good transmission and 4 wheel drive in the winter."

  • Do Yourself a Favor: Book Soon and Often and Relax

"Never has a vacation been so wonderful. This house has THE most INCREDIBLE view. Watching the sun make its way through the morning haze. Looking across the nightlights of the city to the mountains in the west. The absolute stillness of the mountains with the nightlife of the city streets just minutes away. The sights and sounds of Asheville were quite a lure, as was the Grove Park Inn spa just around the bend down the mountain. Eagle’s Perch is a short drive to the grocery store or a five minute drive to some the “best eats” in Western Carolina. No need to surf the Internet for restaurant listings and menus; all the information needed is already there at the house. Of course, the owners provided us with a guest booklet that described EVERYTHING. Sights and sounds of interest in Asheville. Even a walking route through the neighborhood (quiet and free of traffic). What a special treat. The houses were almost as amazing as the views they had of the mountains and the city below. The house is neatly appointed with classy and classic art as well as all the essentials found at home. We arrived for the Christmas week and enjoyed a fire in the fireplace every single day. It was fabulous. Bedrooms are all very nice; beds warm and comfy on a winter’s day. Oh, yes, the master suite on the upper floor was just luxurious. (Almost hated to go downstairs!) The game room was fully stocked with games, books and puzzles, but there is so much around to see and do, the poor room didn’t see much of us, other than the ping pong tournament!! If you want to treat yourself (and the family), enjoy ANY season or EVERY season - spring, summer, winter, fall – at Eagle’s Perch in beautiful Asheville, NC. My only caution: you may not ever want to leave!!"

  • Rest and Relaxation

"Thank you so much for such a special weekend! My husband and I had such a relaxing time and definitely plan on coming back. Great location. We enjoyed sledding, feeding the cows, and walking the trails. We loved relaxing and watching the stars from the hot tub so much that we decided to skip going out down town. A gem for sure- thank you again for a wonderful mini-vacation."
