  • Awesome home

"Just got back from a stay at "My Place" for my birthday weekend. It was our family of 7, and we had so much fun and absolutely loved the house! We kept talking about how Frank had put so much into his home to make it so beautiful and comforting. The house exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be back in the future. We are already trying to plan a trip for next year! It is the perfect mountain house, and so close to downtown Asheville and all the fun activities. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!"

  • New Year's Retreat

"Five city guys decided to take a much-needed retreat to the mountains of NC over New Year's - Chalet Quietude provided everything we could have wanted and more. Beautiful views, well-appointed facility, and a gracious host. Not too big, not too small - comfortable and cozy. Add in a hot tub and wood burning fireplace and you have what you need to rejuvenate high in the fresh mountain forest air. All while enjoying what Asheville has to offer within a quick 20-minute drive."

  • You made two sisters very happy!!

"What a FIND!! A great place for a Sister Weekend Getaway! A very pleasant home and perfectly priced too. When my sister and I read “Townhouse” we expected a complex, but... it is a free standing two-story duplex, side by side accommodations with friendly residents in the neighboring house. It is clean, and comfortably furnished.. the kitchen and laundry spaces supplied with what we needed at our finger tips made for a relaxed four days. We really wanted to just “move in!” The pictures on this page do not do it justice! Not far from attractions but yet ideally located for peace and quiet. We had an initial “issue” with the wifi, but a phone call and a quick fix by the “Mrs” and we were back in business.. and it worked great. We would definitely stay here again if the vacations plans are for this area."

  • Cozy, Clean and Convenient

"We visited Asheville in the heart of North Carolina winter for a girl's weekend getaway. The cottage was lovely and Kevin was kind enough to turn the heat up before our arrival. Very private, quiet and even on a windy day you won't hear any outside noise. Because it was Restaurant Week, we dined out but all the appliances/dishes are there to prepare meals. Both the bed and pullout sofa were very comfortable. There were extra quilts and even a fan if you are like me and can't sleep without one. Downtown, Biltmore and other areas of interest are very short drive away making it easy to enjoy all the city has to offer!! Look forward to a return visit soon!"
