"A wonderful stay in a beautiful place! The owners had obviously taken some trouble to make sure that the experience was 'just like home', which was much appreciated: little touches that made the place very special for our time. Great wood fireplace set up for 'one match' lighting before arrival and lots of amenities enhancing the experience. Beautiful cabin, well handled throughout. Thank you for an excellent experience!"

  • What a nice surprise!

"I really loved this cabin. My family (two adults, two kids) stayed here for one night between two far-apart destinations during a long trip, and it was truly restful, welcoming, and comfortable. The sauna is just right after a morning workout. Every little detail in the house is extremely well thought-out and planned; every appliance, device, fitting, fixture, what-have-you is beautiful and works very well. There was a funky and thoughtful collection of movies and music on hand for us to enjoy. I wish I'd stayed longer and done some cooking; the kitchen looked like I could have gone to town. Lots of utensils and dishes that one doesn't normally see in little rental places. I loved the smell of natural cleaning products -- the place was immaculate. Looking at all the thought that went into sustainability and low-impact living was entertaining and gave me some great ideas for my own home. Space is tight, but not cramped. It's efficient and fun. And beautiful."

  • Cozy Cabin

"My boyfriend and I traveled to the cabin for a New Year's Eve getaway and to visit the Biltmore. This cabin was so much more than we anticipated! Perfect amount of space for us and a spectacular view. We enjoyed the privacy, wood stove, and spa! The cabin was very clean and all linens were provided. Even cozy robes! Don't get discouraged by the dated look downstairs. You won't care when you walk upstairs and see the beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked with any dishes we needed and even had cooking spray which I forgot. Whew! The pool table made for a fun night of competition. Lovely trails around to hike and enjoy nature and the covered parking helped when the frost came . We loved the central location of the cabin. Grocery store was 10 minutes away and only 15-20 minutes to downtown Asheville and Biltmore. Thank you Nancy for letting us stay over the holidays. We had such a great time and plan to come back! We also will be sharing this gem of a find with our other mountain loving friends."

  • AMAZING LOCATION! BEAUTIFUL SPACE!

"This was our first ever trip to Asheville and we lucked out BIG TIME by scoring this condo. The condo itself is beautiful- open , airy, high ceilings with skylights, great artwork and cool decor and AMAZING lighting throughout- it provided such a relaxing venue, and the rooftop deck is phenomenal, we disregarded any weather just to unwind on the deck!. There is a great sound system that also connects to the rooftop - how fun is that! The condo manages to feel both comfortable and homey despite the amazing decor. We only used one bed and I can confirm that it is VERY comfortable - I am not a fan of the sweat producing foam/posturepedic type and thankfully this is just an incredibly well padded, comfortable mattress. Though the kitchen is FULLY STOCKED -plates, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, etc - we didn't bother cooking because the location of this condo is spectacular - you can literally fall out the door and tumble into so many wonderful restaurants and eateries, it is ridiculous (Mela is a 1 minute walk). Pack Sqauare (the center square of Asheville) is less than a 5 minute walk - but you needn't go that far - if you choose not to! Also, the great music venues of Asheville are ALL within a 2 minute walk from this condo! Dennis, our host, was always available and helpful (thanks again Dennis for everything) - and the condo has wonderful security in place so that even those of us unaccustomed to city life can rest assured.. We've travelled and rented a great deal, and I believe this is the best experience we've ever had All in all, it was our 24th anniversary and our first trip here; Asheville is awesome, and so is this condo; and we feel so happy to have found this loft and to have had the good fortune to work with Dennis."
