"My family stayed here June 2015 and it was breathtaking. A heavy canopy of trees kept this entire cabin cool while near record high temps were in the area. Cooled by window unit A/C but very effective for this home. The home was lovely and clean when we arrived. Very Inviting. Driveway was a little fun but nothing most cars could not handle (my BMW is very low to the ground so I made my daughter scream the first time up the drive). Quiet and peaceful vacation for the entire family. I spent most of my time on the deck enjoying the cool fresh breeze that came down the mountain. Lovely home, fully equipped for a very pleasant stay. The only problem was can opener was broken. Loved it and I plan to stay next year as well if it is available."

"I was pleasantly surprised on how modern and comfortable the home was. I have rented a few different homes in the NC Mountains, and where they have been nice, this one is everything it was advertised to be. If you want a real “mountain view”, this is the home.
The large deck around the house was perfect for enjoying dinner outside, or just hanging out watching the sunset in the gazebo. The property was beautiful with multitude of birds, bunnies, chipmunks, and even a small fish pond.
The home was clean & tidy, and offered every amenity that a family of 5 needs. Full kitchen, living areas, quiet bed rooms, and an office with a desk to check into work “if needed”. The driveway up to the home was a little intimidating for a Floridian in a mini-van, but by the second day it was no big deal. The covered parking area was perfect for returning to the home during rainy weather. If I could take another week off of work,,, I’d return in a minute."

"We really enjoyed the cabin. Leaves were beginning to turn and had wonderful views from the living room, bedroom, and deck. We enjoyed the fireplace. We loved the gates closing the deck from the stairs and hot tub and felt my grandson, age 2, was very safe. There are a lot of great places to go in the area. Santa's village was a fun day trip. Close to town and restaurants. Chris is a phone call away, ready to help with any problems. All in all, we had a wonderful time and definitely would rent again."

"We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home for a family gathering, with 7 adults and 1 teenager. The location is ideal-- about a 20 minute ride to Asheville and 10 minutes to the NC Arboretum. There is a supermarket and Biltmore Square (shops and restaurants) nearby.
This home is beautifully and comfortably decorated, clean and extremely well-appointed. The bedrooms are very spacious(particularly the upstairs master) with comfortable beds. Five of the six bedrooms have private bathrooms.
The property is in a gated, golf community among other lovely homes. The HOA requires one of the renters to attend a meeting with a rep from the sales office. While a minor annoyance, the meeting was brief, painless and actually informative.
We opted to eat most of our meals in the house and the kitchen is efficiently designed with high-end appliances and so very well-stocked.
We spent an entire day at the Biltmore Estate (15 minutes away). Despite the steep price of admission, it is not to be missed! Discounted, advance-purchase tickets are available online.
As with any property, we had a few minor complaints. The sole TV in the home, located in the living room was difficult to operate, despite the printed instructions. The operation of the stereo system completely baffled 7 adults. The only outdoor area had limited seating for such a large home and the shrubbery (which I imagine was to provide privacy) was a bit overgrown and obstructed the gorgeous view. We were disappointed that we did not have access to a community pool, fitness center. Again, these were minor things.
All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this property!"
