"The cabin was easy to find in a private & secluded neighborhood. The cabin is well-built and has impressive handiwork. The mountain view from the cabin is beautiful at all times. It was a nice retreat for a young couple and a 10 month old baby. I would recommend this cabin if you need to get away from the world and relax. It is central to several local attractions so there are many great places to visit. The owners were very friendly and helpful as well. Thank you!"

"This was a wonderful cabin. My fiancé and I loved it so much that we didn't leave the cabin to explore the area until around noon each day. The peacefulness, the comfortable surroundings, and the decor of the cabin with the comfort of the furniture made it possible to relax and enjoy our vacation. The very informative guide that you provided made it easier to locate areas that we had been to before. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to do other things we wanted to do. Loved, loved , loved this cabin. Thank you for sharing it with us!!!!"

"We enjoyed our family reunion at Dwight's lake house. The house is very comfortable and very beautiful. My mother-in-law is not able to navigate stairs, but she enjoyed watching us play in the lake as she sat on the back porch. The view was great! We greatly appreciated the use of the canoe and kayaks. The lake is so clean and the water temperature was perfect for swimming. It's about a 20-minute drive to town, so plan accordingly. Our plans were to stay at the lake house and visit. We were thoroughly entertained swimming kayaking, canoeing, swimming, playing ping pong, air hockey, and the arcade type basketball shooting game. You will need to use the free land line as there is no cell phone service, but there was internet service. We hope to go there again."

"My wife and I rented the cabin to spend a quite week together for our 25th anniversary. We have never rented a cabin in NC before but we new what we were looking for. Something quite, in a small community, nice local fare, friendly area, fishing which I like to do and beautiful view of the mountain's. OH I forgot to mention the hot tub which was something Denise really wanted. The owners have a fire pit to cook by or just enjoy a nice warm fire after you get of the hot tub or a dip in the creek. We'll the cabin owners had all of this covered but much more. We did no need to bring anything except our bags. Located on a creek that does from time to time hold rainbow an specked mountain trout, I did mange to catch four trout in the first few days. (keep in mind that fishing is fishing - fish do not always cooperate. To find a few more I had to set out towards Fires Creek and further up Davis creek. Just go talk to some local people to find out, where to go and what to use. Fires creek is a wonderful place to visit an not far from the cabin. We would certainly rent this cabin again and recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quite place to stay with plenty to do in the area. Great for a family of 4- 6. Romantic, Adventure, sightseeing OH yes and fishing."
