  • Very nice accommodations!

"My wife and I stayed at JoAnn's condo and found it to be very clean and in overall excellent condition. JoAnn was wonderful to work with throughout the rental process. The only downside to the stay was the lack of cell connectivity at the condo, which the owner advised us of prior to renting, so it wasn't unexpected. Overall very nice experience."

  • A great place to relax

"We rented this wonderful house for three nights. Rain or shine, the views from the screened porch were awe-inspiring--the photos don't do it justice. The place is well-equipped and comfortable--we ate in two of our three nights because we felt so relaxed we didn't want to go out, and the kitchen had everything we needed (and the view of the mountains from beside the grill is conducive to philosophical thoughts while grilling and sipping a glass of wine!) The house is convenient to attractions and dining in and around Sapphire, Cashiers and Highlands. It's probably a stretch for more than four people because of the layout of the interior, and I'm not sure it's a good place for kids (though there are three TVs and two DVD players, always helpful in a pinch.) The interior communal living space is limited, but with that porch who wants to be inside? I highly recommend this property and hope to visit again."

  • Lovely rental property

"This is a lovely property and the pictures hardly do the setting or the house justice. Just minutes away from downtown Asheville, this private home/cabin feels way off in the woods, set up on a mountain side, surrounded by flowering trees and walking trails. The house is spacious, very comfortable (including the beds!), clean, with lovely furnishings, an updated, well-equipped kitchen and other thoughtful amenities. The hot tub is a great addition. We stayed here with another adult couple as the azaleas were popping and enjoyed lovely views from the porch rockers. The house could easily accommodate a few more folks. The property owners are hospitable and informative. The booking process was easy and straightforward. I look forward to staying here again."

  • My month in Asheville

"I have been here a month, leaving tomorrow. The condo has been my home away from home. It has all the amenities and none of the worries of home. If anything comes up Jean is on it. Jean is lovely and it was a joy to meet her. The condo could not be more centrally located. I walked from 3 miles to 6 miles a day exploring. Uber has a big presence in Ashevillle so it is easy to go to the Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. Everything else I walked to. The city is vibrant and this condo is in the heart of it. Yes, there are fire trucks going down the street but to me this was part of the charm. The windows in the living room were opened all the time for me. The places to eat are close and terrific. Jean has menus and a things to do in Asheville list and I added some as well. I loved it here and coming from Los Angeles, it is definitely a change. Don't need a car at all. The bed in the one bedroom is so comfortable and there is plenty of drawer and closet space. It was clean and I loved the decor. There is one couch bed in living room and two great aero blow up beds. I had guests and the aero bed in the living room worked well. And if that weren't enough just take the Elevator to the first floor and you open to The Lobster Trap Restaurant which is lively and has good food and drinks and live music ( none of which you hear from the bedroom). The building is quiet and seems to fill up a little more on the weekends. A great retreat away from home. Thanks Jean for your wonderful place and hospitality."
