"The cabin is better called a "home"! It was stocked full of everything we needed, and all was top quality. The home is beautiful, the furnishings are attractive and comfortable, and the views of the woods and mountains are spectacular. It is also close to everything we wanted to do in SE western NC. I will say that mattress in the bedroom upstairs is way too soft for my liking, but the mattress in the downstairs bedroom was just fine. However, that doesn't count against my review; hard mattresses are just a preference of mine. (My daughter liked the soft mattress!) The roads leading to the home were easy to navigate, and the surrounding homes were very nice, too. I can highly recommend this rental to others looking for a great place to stay in the beautiful NC mountains."

Great cabin, great location, stocked with everything
"My wife and I (and some friends) really enjoyed staying at this rental cabin. The creek is right behind the cabin and provides a wonderful background sound of rushing water as you sit on the back porch and enjoy the setting. We attended a class at the John C. Campbell Folk School which was less than 3 miles away (a 5 minute drive). There is lots of room in the cabin and it was stocked with everything you might need. We highly recommend it and hope to rent it again in the future."

"This wonderful cabin became our sanctuary as my husband took a pottery class at The John C Campbell Folk School.
Hearing the rush of the creek quietly eased our spirits to the realm where angels must certainly must dwell. I learned this week how to avoid the Internet. How to regain the erstwhile quest to eat whole foods again with joy.
Thank you, Miz Sandra and Mr. Bass to make a dream for my husband a reality. And for me, a week of certain tranquility.
