"I thought the house was very clean and well decorated; the kitchen provided us with everything we needed and then some. The setting was tranquil and lovely. We enjoyed sitting outside with a fire going. My entire family enjoyed the waterfall tour with Craig Miller. He was an excellent guide. Hope to come back in the Fall sometime in the future. I also appreciate the quick return of the refund. Thank you"

"Thank you Helen. Our stay at the Nut House was excellent. Your rental is perfectly located. We enjoyed our hikes at DuPont and Caesars Head. The house was furnished perfectly. All around, an excellent rental."

"This property was indeed a taste of home. It featured a roomy, well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area and three bedrooms. The best part was the large screened porch where we spent an afternoon and evenings listening to the quiet. It hasn't been modernized, but there's a real nostalgic appeal. Located a few miles from downtown Brevard, it offered convenience as well as a beautiful natural setting. We spent a day in Asheville, about 45 away, an afternoon exploring the downtown shops in Brevard and a day exploring waterfalls in Pisgah National Forest. If you're looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere, check out The Falls Landing. We also liked Rocky's Soda Shop, a family-friendly old-style burger and shake joint."

"We had a terrific time at this cabin in the woods! The house was clean and well stocked. Between extra pillows, blankets, and towels there was an abundance of linens, which is always helpful. The kitchen was stocked with all items to prepare meals and feel right at home. We had plenty of chopped wood for the fireplace and the kids enjoyed the expansive selection of DVDs. David, the property owner, was quick to respond to all my email and text messages and gave clear directions about all things pertaining to the rental. As we visited over the Halloween weekend, the front porch provided the perfect space to sit by candlelight and tell scary stories. We also thoroughly enjoyed walking the property and fishing in the trout pond!
The house exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return!"
