"Beautiful area! We enjoyed walking up the road, and were delighted to find clearings with views of the immediate mountains. The creek is lovely and the drive to Bryson City is quite scenic. Falls Melody comfortably housed our group of 6. The house was well stocked with linens, towels, washcloths, pillows, blankets etc., and the kitchen was supplied with condiments and more. The owner was quick to respond to my questions. Great stay!"

"The cabin was perfect for our family. The teenaged girls stayed in the upstairs loft, the adults stayed on the main level and the boys (19 and 5) stayed in the basement. It is close to the NOC, Bryson City and the Little Tennessee River. The big kids and Dad rented canoes on the river and Mom and the 5 year old rode the train in Bryson City. Favorite activity for the whole family was tubing at Deep Creek. This was our third trip to the area and this cabin was by far our favorite."

"My wife and I had been through everything in the last year and needed a break. When we discovered this beautiful cabin nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains, we were excited. But on our arrival we were surprised that it was more than we expected. Robbie and Dale think of everything. The place is everything you see in the pictures and more. When you arrive it is immaculately clean. There are basic food items in the fridge, including some treats and the stuff to make smores. fresh flowers on the table and the table set for the two of us. There is a sauna, hot tub, fire pit, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and furniture, and all in an incredibly beautiful setting. Need something...just get hold of Dale or Robbie. They aim to please. This place just makes you feel welcome and 5 minutes after you walk in the door you think Robbie and Dale are your friends. They must be your friends...who else would show that kind of concern and care for you comfort during your stay in paradise. Sit on the comfortable porch with only the sounds of nature, maybe a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, a book, or maybe just a quiet conversation with your partner. If you are looking for a rest, you'll find it. We left rested, invigorated, and already thinking about coming back. It was our great pleasure to meet and spend a little time with Robbie and Dale. We highly recommend a visit to this magical mountain hideaway, to relax in comfort and peace and surrounded by God's beautiful creation. Thank you so much to Robbie and Dale."

"My wife and two daughters had a fantastic stay at Heaven's Gate. It is a wonderful cabin and our favorite feature was the porch. It's a fairly easy drive from the bottom of the mountain and in less than 10 minutes from the last bit of pavement you'll be staring at Tennessee and will be able to see the highest mountains in the Smokies. We spent one day rafting at NOC - which is a very scenic 30 minute drive 'door to raft' and did some hiking on the AT the next day. I highly recommend this cabin."
