"My family of four from naples,fl enjoyed this lakefront cottage with a dock. It was fully stocked, clean and lovely. I would like to see them add the use of a kayak or canoe. Not too far to many interesting things to do as well. Very relaxing!"

  • ...even better then last time!!!

"Dear Robbie & Dale, You know, sometimes trips can be transformative - spiritually, emotionally, figuratively. Sometimes not. Sometimes they can be just what you had hoped to achieve, where everything kinda falls into place. This was one of those trips: arriving after a very long drive and walking in the front door to a cozy fire already ablaze, the fresh flowers and baked goodies, the "smell" of pure cleanliness, that first morning walk up Campbell Mountain to gorgeous vistas, shopping in Bryson City, eating at the Cork & Bean, walking "the loop" at Deep Creek, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, the falling snow, etc, etc, etc........... ! Alyce and I can't thank y'all enough for the tremendously generous hospitality, the fantastic Thanksgiving evening dinner, all the amenities in The Cabin, and just for your kind and warm friendship. It all means an awful lot to us. The weather, to me, was the most pleasureable surprise. Snow on Thanksgiving morning?!?!? Walking thru the snow in the woods on Campbell Mountain, hiking in the snow in Deep Creek.........can't dial that up any better!!! Literally, icing on the cake that is The Cabin Nestled in the Woods. Again, this was one of our best vacation trips ever!! A ton of thanks to Dale for being our tourguide thru Joyce Kilmer - was just fantastic!!! We took our time, and stopped and enjoyed the scenery, and Dale's knowledge of the woods was a tremendous addition. I really think that it beat our 7-mile trek up Clingman's Dome last year!! The drive to and from Joyce Kilmer was an adventure in itself - including the gas stop in Robbinsville!!! Unbelieveable!!! We thoroughly enjoyed this trip, and are planning one in the summer, all things working out. But, we know now that we have incredibly good friends in the mountains, and it all goes hand-in-hand with the scenery and surroundings. Truly, a wonderfully, magically, beautiful place!!! Again, thank you both for your hospitality, friendship, and generosity shown to us during this trip. Not something you find just anywhere. You guys are the best thing in that neck of the woods!!! We'll be back!!! Y'all take care!!! Chris & Alyce Coincon Covington, Louisiana"

  • Wonderful Get-Away!

"This cabin is just beautiful--beautiful view, comfortable and truly away from it all but close enough to civilisation if you need it. My husband, daughter, and grandson and myself all enjoyed all the amenities. I would truly like to visit again during the warmer months of the year. Thank you for sharing your wonderful vacation home with us!"

Candler Travel Tips

The Sweet Place of Candyland with Candler Vacation Rentals

One of the sweetest places on earth has got to be in Candler, South Carolina also known as "Candyland." The town of Candler is a vacation destination of some of the sweetest Candler vacation rentals available. The name "Candyland" creates mental images of sweet candies and confections and is very appropriate for Candler cabins. The magical Candyland is located on the side of Candyland Mountain in Candler, South Carolina nestled in the hills of Mt. Pisgah. Both kids and adults alike thoroughly enjoy the area because they have so much to offer vacationers.

Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals are Charming

Smoky Mountain cabin rentals have several rustic cabins that are fully furnished and equipped with modern conveniences. They have more than just the standard microwave and small refrigerator offered in hotel rooms. The cabins are so nice that they can make you forget you're on vacation because they feel so much like home. The Candler cabins can lodge up to 12 people in their generous accommodations. There are also sweet little touches like porches with rocking chairs and country gravel roads. The cabins have been designed to give you a warm, cozy feeling with small details that you're not likely to find elsewhere. For instance, the cabin's rustic look was created by using the lumber from old and houses barns in their manufacturing to give them a weathered look.

Local Fun at a Candler Vacation Rental Property

Aside from its rustic charm and modern conveniences, you can also hike in the nearby forests that are full of nature's sights and sounds. Or, you can fish in the mountain creeks that run along the back of most of the rental properties. Another option is fly fishing at Pigeon River for a change of scenery. In addition to all of this, there's even more outside fun with the area's shopping attractions and restaurants. One of the popular attractions to Candler is the ever-famous mountain attraction of the Biltmore Estate. You will never get bored or run out of fun things to do while on vacation in these Smoky Mountain cabin rentals. It's no wonder they call it Candyland--it's sweet and enjoyable to vacation there.
