"If you are looking for peace, rest, and recharge then this is the place for you! Bella Vista was a perfect long weekend get away for two couples. The layout of the villa provides plenty of common space in well-stocked kitchen, dining area, family spot, and porch. The bedrooms and baths on separate floors provided solace and privacy when desired. We spent several days enjoying the perfect weather, sights around the lake, mountains roads, local vineyards, and homey restaurants. We also enjoyed a stay-and-play night in the villa with the grill and games. Monica touched base and made sure all our needs were met! Our trip was "just what the doctor ordered!" Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!"

"I have stayed at this beautiful slice of serenity on multiple occasions and return as often as possible. The air is clear, the surroundings are breathtaking, the house is so comfortable and cozy. Doesn't matter what time of year, there's something to do and see. There are waterfalls galore within a short drive. We have gone on the Blue Ridge Parkway, shopping in Cashiers, Highlands, Brevard, Asheville-all within driving distance. Having a glass or two by the fire in the cold weather is so relaxing. In the spring, the flowers and surroundings are green and lush. Please don't go here, that means less time for me! Well worth the trip. A short trip from Atlanta, yet miles away from traffic, noise, phones, work, and the fast pace. Truly a wonderful, refreshing retreat."

"“The Long and Winding Road” Although a song by the Beatles it is a perfect description of your great mountain hideaway. Floridians, beach people, go to the mountains for a change of scenery. We don't drive on mountain roads and they always seem longer and more winding. Every inch worth the drive. To sit and look towards the Appalachian Trail and wonder who might be ready to start their long adventure. To sit and listen to the quiet (it's a great non-sound). To watch the winter birds search for a feeding as the sun begins to warm the mornings after sub-freezing nights. To watch the slowing emptying feeder as if it were an hour glass. A weekend, an Anniversary celebration, a Valentine get-away, all provided by your Smokey Mountain retreat.
Thanks for the extra treat of firewood, though we brought some of our own. Thanks for the clean and restful environment. Most of all, thanks for the great directions. They were spot-on.
Dinner at Cafe REL, Lucio's, and in Cherokee at Brio Tuscan Grill filled all the needs for fine dining. Even offering the use of your Ingles card was an extra thoughtful touch.
We will be back.

"Wonderful rental home - comfortable, clean, convenient to all area activities. Although it was really too chilly, we enjoyed breakfast on the deck while huddled in blankets - couldn't resist the views and bird watching! Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, hot tub and deck are amazing! I would definitely consider staying here again. It was much better than staying in a hotel, in my opinion. Reviewers with concerns about the driveway must be flatlanders - not an issue for this Mountain State resident!"
