  • Weekend getaway

"We were able to get this beautiful place on the spur of the moment on our way home from Asheville. The cabin is so homey, clean and peaceful! It looks just like the photos! We had a rainy night the first night there and being able to sit on the back porch with the rain hitting the tin roof was so relaxing and romantic! You can not see the pond during this time of year but it is only a short walk thru the woods. I cant tell you much about that part cause it is not our thing but i did read in the owners guest book about the fun that many people had with the canoe. The only drawback we found was the driveway. The cabin sits below the road so you have to get a little running start but we made it fine with our car. Bob senior the owners dad is close by and is willing to help with any questions. There are nice resturants nearby in Blue Ridge but make reservations first! Would recommend Brothers copper kettle in Ducktown and Shoebooties in Murphy. We had a wonderful time there and would recommend it to anyone who needs to get away and relax or a great place to come home to after sightseeing or rafting! Thanks Bob!"

  • Loved It!

"We stayed a week while attending a Bible Conference at Lake Junaluska. Looked for a place that would welcome our older Corgi girl. The cabin was perfect for her and the 2 of us. She loved laying on the screen porch and her trips out in the private yard. Although she had her own bed, she enjoyed the doggie bed in the cabin (found it herself when I never noticed it). She also wanted to thank you for the dog biscuits you left for her (the cupcakes for us were great too). The cabin was very cozy inside and there was room outside for us to pull in and turn around with our motorcycle trailer. Plenty of room to park our vehicle, the trailer, and the bike in the drive."

  • Beautiful, Clean, Spacious - Great Time!

"This was our second time renting a chalet in Murphy. This chalet went beyond our expectations. Decks on three sides provided panoramic views with different sitting areas. The home was beautifully furnished and spotless. We cooked multiple meals and found everything we needed. Three baby deer roamed the area. Spent a great day renting a pontoon boat sightseeing and fishing. Would love to come back to this chalet next year."

Candler Travel Tips

The Sweet Place of Candyland with Candler Vacation Rentals

One of the sweetest places on earth has got to be in Candler, South Carolina also known as "Candyland." The town of Candler is a vacation destination of some of the sweetest Candler vacation rentals available. The name "Candyland" creates mental images of sweet candies and confections and is very appropriate for Candler cabins. The magical Candyland is located on the side of Candyland Mountain in Candler, South Carolina nestled in the hills of Mt. Pisgah. Both kids and adults alike thoroughly enjoy the area because they have so much to offer vacationers.

Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals are Charming

Smoky Mountain cabin rentals have several rustic cabins that are fully furnished and equipped with modern conveniences. They have more than just the standard microwave and small refrigerator offered in hotel rooms. The cabins are so nice that they can make you forget you're on vacation because they feel so much like home. The Candler cabins can lodge up to 12 people in their generous accommodations. There are also sweet little touches like porches with rocking chairs and country gravel roads. The cabins have been designed to give you a warm, cozy feeling with small details that you're not likely to find elsewhere. For instance, the cabin's rustic look was created by using the lumber from old and houses barns in their manufacturing to give them a weathered look.

Local Fun at a Candler Vacation Rental Property

Aside from its rustic charm and modern conveniences, you can also hike in the nearby forests that are full of nature's sights and sounds. Or, you can fish in the mountain creeks that run along the back of most of the rental properties. Another option is fly fishing at Pigeon River for a change of scenery. In addition to all of this, there's even more outside fun with the area's shopping attractions and restaurants. One of the popular attractions to Candler is the ever-famous mountain attraction of the Biltmore Estate. You will never get bored or run out of fun things to do while on vacation in these Smoky Mountain cabin rentals. It's no wonder they call it Candyland--it's sweet and enjoyable to vacation there.
