"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was the perfect combination of rustic charm and modern convenience, therefore, satisfying myself and my husband! The river offered a peaceful backdrop to our campfire and live entertainment with the Blue Heron's daily visits. Our plan was to use the cabin as our home base for trips into Asheville and some day trips, however, we found ourselves anxious to get back and just sit around the campfire! We can't wait to come back."

"The house was perfect. Very clean when we got their and the view of the mountains was breathtaking. The only thing that could have been better was better directions on getting to the place. Would go again!!!!!"

"We stayed in Ana's home for 6 nights for our vacation and to attend an art workshop. Both Ana and Vickie were very accommodating to my personal request. The home was clean with a minimalist, artsy vibe. The kitchen had all the items necessary to cook and serve meals - all the way down to the wine corks. The front porch and back deck both had comfortable seating to enjoy coffee, wine or any drink of choice. Bird feeder and food provided so you can enjoy the many birds who frequent the deck. The mattress on the king bed was firm and so comfortable. This home was perfect for me to unwind, meditate and rejuvenate. I walked to both the River Arts District and downtown on many occasions. Both areas were in short walking distance with downtown being the farthest (approximately two miles). The routes I walked seem to be very safe and all had sidewalks for easy travel. West Asheville and downtown both have so many choices on food and activities that you will never be bored. The homeowner provided a magazine that references the best of everything that Western North Carolina (WNC) has to offer. I definitely would stay here again - I would even let Ana adopt me. :-)"

"Just spent a week with my family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very nice home on
gorgeous lake in beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Great fishing, kayaking and other activities for the entire family. Home was quite comfortable for all of us which included six adults and four children and is very close to Highlands and convenient to Cashiers and Lake Glenville area.
This property has something for everybody. Would never tire of the pretty lake view."
