"Our family of 3 had a very restful few days at the cabin. It was comfortable for everyone and extremely peaceful- we even enjoyed a few days of rain just by sitting with the screen doors opened and appreciating the calm! The cabin is a bit off the beaten path but it was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of our daily life. MJ was very proactive in making sure our stay was a positive one as well- thanks!"

"Had a great time here! Weather couldn't be better, many activities within an hour drive, and it was nice to be able to bring the dog. The owner seems easy to contact but we never needed anything while we were there. Will definitely look at Catspaw again when planning a trip to the mountains."

"This home is beautiful and well built. All of the finishes (solid panel doors, quality fixtures in the four baths, great hard wood floors) are much better than one finds in many rental properties. It also is tastefully decorated with many nice touches- like a basket with afghans to drape over you if you get chilled. There is plenty of nice porch furniture, front and back so there always is a shady place to sit. The kitchen appliances are nice and there are plenty of matching glasses and dishes. We didn't cook, however so I don't know about the pots and pans but everything else was well supplied so I would think they would be too. The location is close to Cashiers and very close to access to hiking in Panthertown wilderness-- with the bonus of a great soaking tub in the master bath for post hiking aches and pains. Really among the most comfortable homes in which we have stayed."

"We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely A-frame during a week that the locals said was much hotter than usual. We didn't notice! The air-conditioner in the loft did its job there when needed, and the rest of the house caught the lake breezes and cool night air. The 9-year-old had fun counting the bears in the house, and the 3-year-old grinned while coming down the spiral stairs from the loft on his bottom. We all carefully planned our trips to the lake to minimize the number of times we came up the steps (slippery especially when wet). We paddled the kayaks about 1 mile across the lake to the waterfall. The deck and screened porch are wonderful places to cook, eat, and watch birds in the shade trees. There are lots of hiking trails within easy driving, as described in the information pamphlets in the living room. We didn't have time to do everything! Debra is very responsive and easy to work with. We really enjoyed our week."
