"the location was great, the decor was charming and modern. The proximity to Cashiers, Glenville and highlands was amazing! We walked to dinner at the Orchard Inn each night. The location was spacious and we ended sipping our coffee on the front porch each am"

"This is a beautiful Mountain home with with plenty to explore in the area. The peace you find here will renew your spirit. The house is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Randy, the owner is very attentive to all your questions and needs. This is the perfect retreat to entertain your family and friends. The community dock area is a great place to walk to. You can grill out here, read a book, watch boaters, build a camp fire. The near by creek that you can hear running from the porch deck is a fun place to walk to and explore. The Humming bird activity on the deck was a delight to watch. I would definitely rent this wonderful home again. We use the VRBO website for all our rentals and this place is definitely one of the best!"

"We loved our stay at Silent Meadows! We were extremely comfortable in the cabin, which was immaculate and equiipped with everything needed to make it our home away from home. However with no internet service, we were forced us to put down our electronics, relax and enjoy each other! The owner was delightful and eager to help us anyway she could. The temperatures were awesome, in the low 60's in the evenings and mornings, which allowed us to build a fire in the pit, in August! There are books and pamplhlets there on things to do in the area and we discovered places we had never been, like Cowee Gap! A bit of a difficult hike, but well worth the effort!"
