  • Relaxing and comfortable summer getaway!

"We stayed here for two months sight unseen and loved it. The home is very spacious within walking distance of the Champion Hills club house. Three stories of this vacation home allow optimum privacy for up to three couples or two couples with kids. The home was very clean. Enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood, our daily walks, and the unobstructed views towards the Blue Ridge Mountain Range from the large deck. The Fazio golf course in this community is fabulous. Enjoyed the use of the newly renovated club facilities and activities around the club. The people at Champion Hills made us very welcome and we felt right at home. The owners have been very friendly, responsive and helpful. We can highly recommend this home for a relaxing and cool escape from the Florida heat in the summer."

  • Our new favorite rental

"We rented Sonshine Cottage for our 3rd annual family apple picking weekend and I look forward to staying there again next year. The cottage is perfectly laid out for multiple families sharing it. My family of 3, my sister's family of 4 & our mom stayed there and it accommodated us perfectly. The kitchen is organized and well appointed and the whole cottage is immaculately clean. Beautiful neighborhood, great views, a few short minutes to downtown Hendersonville and 30 minutes to Biltmore- perfect!"

  • Quiet, secluded piece of paradise

"This wonderful cabin is VERY secluded and quiet. Millie was a delightful host. Homemade cookies waiting when we arrived and even homemade muffins were waiting for us on the second day. The beds are wonderful and the back deck is a great place for breakfast or an evening conversation or even smore's (left as a special surprise by Millie). Be sure to stock up on any needed groceries before you get to Topton because there are no grocery stores (although there were some food in the pantry). We were visiting the Nantahala Outdoor Center for whitewater competition and it was an easy 20-25 minute drive. The NOC has a couple of good restaurants. The cabin is a lovely down-home facility, not too fancy but just right for a little R & R!"

  • Too short Of A Stay :]

"We only stayed two days and it wasn't enough. Hot tub was amazing for my low back pain and loved the sound of the creek close by. I don't recommend taking a little sports car up here though. My husband thought it would be fun to bring our little Miata for all the winding roads, which was fun, but it was not great for actually getting to the cabin. Driving through the little creek (though shallow) was not great for that car. I would bring a regular sized car or bigger. It rained about all day both days we were there so we didn't get to do too much exploring outside the cabin, but with puzzles, games, and movies we bought, there was plenty to do. It was also nice not having really any cell phone signal or wifi, we were able to just live in the moment. So if you're trying to get work done while away, this isn't the place."
