"We stayed in the Laurel Cottage for a family reunion and celebration of my mother's 75th birthday. We loved the home with all the special touches that made it feel like a home and not a rental. We had beautiful weather and were able to thoroughly enjoy the property. Everyone loved the rope swing(even the adults), field for soccer right beyond the patio, fishing in the pond, relaxing in tubes on the river, and watching the sunset from the knoll. Every where you looked, it was picture perfect! We love going out to eat but we decided to cook all our meals at the home and enjoy the scenery in front of us. We did decide to leave the property to experience Sliding Rock. The drive was a little longer than expected and very windy but watching my mother go down Slippery Rock on her 75th birthday is a memory I will never forget. This is a place we will be sure to return to. Thank you!"

"The cabin was great and fully stocked. It was perfect for my family of four. The Creek was really fun and we waded up and downstream many times. John C. Campbell Folk School is less than 5 minutes away, and if you're traveling without a car it's a nice walk or bike ride there. If you're a race car fan there is a racetrack very close to the property. During our stay we went to the racetrack and had a great night. The cabin is conveniently located 20 minutes to Murphy, NC and 30 minutes to Blairsville GA. We spent a lot of time exploring waterfalls, lakes, hiking trails, and nearby towns. There are a lot of great restaurants in Murphy and Blairsville, I would recommend going to Brother's restaurant in either Murphy, NC or Young Harris, GA, it was so good we went there 4 times. Gigi was one of the nicest and most responsive owners I've ever rented with. She was accommodating and very easy to work with. Overall my family had a great stay and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area."

"The Daisy cabin is exactly what I hoped it would be. The cabin was charming, quaint, clean, away from the hustle and bustle, and also felt like home away from home.
My boyfriend and I spent the long weekend here for our anniversary, and it was perfect. The details throughout the cabin made us relaxed and we were happy to escape the big city."

"We met our in-laws in the mountains for a nice quite Valentine's weekend and this place was just perfect and a great value. The property had a breathtaking view, and the uniqueness of the farmhouse was obviously decorated with good taste and love. To top it off, the bit of snow we travelled through on our way home made the weekend magical. The owner was more than accommodating throughout the trip. My father-in-law was particularly fond of that 'feeling of home' that he felt during our stay. We travel to the mountains quite often and this was a favorite for him. We enjoyed your home Jim, and your hospitality. Thank you!"
