"My adult siblings and I grew up in Asheville but we all now live in other states. Our mother sold the family home this year and we were looking for a place for all of us to be together over the Christmas holidays. We found this rental to be a perfect location for 7 of us. There was even a decorated Christmas tree and an electric fireplace waiting for us! The house has three distinct living areas on different floors, each with a full bathroom. The main floor has the master BR with a spectacular bathroom, bedroom TV, dining area, kitchen, 1/2 bath, and porch. The bottom floor has a BR, a comfortable sofa/bed, big TV, Bath, pool table, porch, and a laundry room. The top floor overlooks the main living area. There is a BR, bath, and an open area with the futon. The kitchen is fully equipped. I kind of wished there had been a TV in the main living area but we all piled on the master bed and watched TV together. There is wireless for computers. Don't miss the tiny steep road on the left from the main road. Parking is tight but very doable. There is a coffee shop and a bakery in Weaverville. Ingles Grocery Store is close by. Easy access to I-26 and a quick trip to Asheville. Great location, Super rental. I would consider it again!"

"There were 15 of us that stayed at the house. We were in town for a family wedding and needed a place large enough to accomodate our group, coming from Pennsylvania, Florida and Tennessee...This house fit the bill. The house was great and well equipped. We loved the hot tub and spent many evenings there. We also enjoyed a fire in the fire pit a couple evenings. We were a bit thrown on the drive to the house, as you leave the main road and travel onto what seems to be a desolate area, however once you get to the house and up the steep drive..the questionable drive seems worth it...and once you do the drive a couple times it doesn't seem as bad either. The wifi seemed to go in and out and some of our group never were able to connect, for some reason, but again, not really a major issue for us. Over all a great house and would totally recommend it to others."

"We spent some wonderful days at the NAntahala Lodge in March. It is a amazing place. Very seldom does a rental so exceed our expectations that we plan another trip just to stay there!!! Sadly when we want Bach in May, it was not available so I I have another to compare with. Absolutely no comparison. We had 3 little boys their parents and us, the grands. Everything we could have possibly have wanted was provided, except food. Plenty of room to run, close to NOC , easy fishing, sleeping arrangements well planned. I could go on. We're going back with teenagers but not until Nantahala Lodge is available for us"

"Loved this sweet little spot. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. It was perfect for my family. We swam, fished, swam, fished, swam, and fished some more AND it was pet friendly. Although we brought our own stuff, they had everything you need Kayaks, fishing poles, floaties....We hope to come back again and again!"
