"We had a wonderful time at this comfortable cabin celebrating our 30th birthday year. Very clean! Plenty of room for our group to spread out or gather together for dinner and conversation. Very easy to get to the Biltmore Estate and Asheville for a night on the town."

"We had a great time. We enjoyed the area by going to Helen, checking out some wineries and also whitewater rafting. We wish we had a couple extra days to just do nothing and sit at the cabin and enjoy that more. Very nice place and great location right on the creek."

"We wanted to escape the heat of the SC coast and visit family in the area and this was the ideal location. The pictures do not do it justice. The cabin was larger than it appears in the pictures and so comfortable. Wish we had booked a two week stay! My husband, a TV junkie, spent every hour that we were there out on the porch. We have a porch at home, but he never spends that much time on it. It is convenient to any activities or sightseeing you may want to do. We went to Helen and Blue Ridge; took the train ride. Unfortunately my husband has a very bad back so we could not hike around the area, but he did walk around the pond several times. I am so sorry we did not book a longer stay!! And again, out timing was off - the Tavern down the street was closed for several days. I think they were doing some repairs. Other guests said it was a nice friendly place and we wanted to check it out. One morning while drinking our coffee on the porch, two of the neighbors jumped in the pond for a swim!! The four legged neighbors. There were three sweet, friendly dogs who would show up every now and then. Five days without the internet did not kill me, although I would have liked it just to look up some info on places in the area. I think this would be an ideal place for a family to "get to know one another" again - unplug from the craziness and play games, hike, relax. I wish I could bring my grandchildren there for a week so the can see what life without wires is like!! Thanks for a great stay!!"

"My family and I have stayed on Lake Santeetlah for several years in a row, each time in a different house. This one has been the best for our large group (12 adults and 2 kids). Well laid out, lots of beds, very nice location on the lake. The dock is great for swimming off of and docking boats and/or jet skis. We will definitely be interested in staying at this house again!"
