"Great instructions were given prior to arrival. "Check-in" was easy. Although we did not do much cooking, the kitchen seemed very well stocked. The interiors may be a little dated for some people, but we were comfortable. The spectacular scenery outside was what we were looking for. It is a 45 min. drive, but we enjoyed the historic Dillsboro area as well as exploring the BR parkway. Restaurants we enjoyed were: Angelo's and Fat Buddies BBQ in Waynesville and Speedy Pizza in Sylva. It did not bother us much but be aware there is little to no cell service in the cabin and the WiFi internet connection is slow. This is a positive when looking to get away!"

"We stayed at Misty Laurel in mid September and it was absolutely gorgeous. The Chalet was just as pictured and described and with Pat's directions we drove right to it without any problem. Pat was very gracious to check in with us on arrival day to be sure we had made it and to see if we had any questions. We enjoyed pontooning on the Lake Nantahala and rafting at the NOC. We also enjoyed strolling the are around the Chalet with our two dogs and I will say I don't believe I have ever been anywhere more tranquil. Just perfect. We hope to be back next year."

"Cabin was literally in the middle of no where. It was nice to be away from everything, but it took 15 minutes to get to the closest restaurant or store, which were all closed by 9pm. Beth was nice & helpful. Well kept place. No AC, but Beth provided an AC unit which was a life saver. Cabin is up a half mile, 65 degree slope, gravel road. Would recommend a truck to drive up this road. Cell phone service was spotty, but we were able to connect to the wifi & get online in the cabin. It was a nice place. We & the dogs enjoyed our time. We didn't want to come home."

"We really enjoyed River Song!! It was a great place to stay. It was a very clean and beautiful house. The porch and yards were great. The snacks were a wonderful touch and really appreciated. Hope to be back soon!!"
