"My family of 5 adults and 2 babies plus a dog recently stayed at the Harper House. It is very conveniently located. It's very near the interstate with easy access to Saluda and Hendersonville. While we were there we visited an apple orchard, a vineyard and downtown Saluda. The location of the house is very secluded and has a great view. It was a great house for those who have young kids and/or dogs."

Amazing trip with dear friends in perfect house and location!
"We wanted to find a perfect location to spend a few days with dear friends before our two oldest children left for college for their freshman year. This home could not have been more perfect in every way! It is located in the beautiful Lake Toxaway in the mountains. The three bedrooms on the main floor all had their own bathrooms and amazingly comfortable beds. The kitchen is very updated and fully stocked with absolutely anything you could imagine you would need. The large den with the high ceiling is a very comfortable way for all of to hang out and spend great time together. The huge deck was great for card games and other games with a great view for all of us! The downstairs has 2 bunk beds and a couch - perfect for the three girls. The house is just up from the golf course and the marina where you can rent boats. It is all a short drive from Sapphire Valley and Cashiers where there are lots of great restaurants and shops (Mica's and Cornu Copia and the Sapphire Valley Brewing Company) - and of course right around the corner from our favorite Brown Trout restaurant. We also had a great trip to the waterfalls and a hike all close by. It was all in all the perfect vacation which allowed us to create wonderful memories for years to come! Most of all, the owners were fabulous and very easy to work with - and made us feel like we were their personal guests for the weekend."

"I have been renting vacation cabins, homes, and condos for over 15 years, from SC to Montana, and this is absolutely the best experience of them all! Cathy is super organized and extremely accommodating. She had all of the information to me days before our arrival; even directions for the remotes and the fireplace! How to operate the TVs and fireplace are small things that can quickly become frustrating! Her kitchen is so well-stocked that you don't have to bring anything! Her sister, Margey, is amazing as well. She lives close by the rental and is available at any hour if needed while also respecting your privacy. We unfortunately had to leave for a day to travel 8 hrs rt for a funeral. On our way out we discovered our car battery was dead and the way we had parked did not allow for anyone to be able to give us a jump. We called Margey and within minutes she was there with a portable battery charger. She told us to keep it with us in case we had trouble traveling. This rental is beautifully designed and decorated with many special personal touches. It is the most affordable we have ever rented as well! I am completely in love with this rental and very fond of Cathy and Margey as well! You can't help but feel like family and like they sincerely want you to experience the best vacation possible!"

"I was pleasantly surprised on how modern and comfortable the home was. I have rented a few different homes in the NC Mountains, and where they have been nice, this one is everything it was advertised to be. If you want a real “mountain view”, this is the home.
The large deck around the house was perfect for enjoying dinner outside, or just hanging out watching the sunset in the gazebo. The property was beautiful with multitude of birds, bunnies, chipmunks, and even a small fish pond.
The home was clean & tidy, and offered every amenity that a family of 5 needs. Full kitchen, living areas, quiet bed rooms, and an office with a desk to check into work “if needed”. The driveway up to the home was a little intimidating for a Floridian in a mini-van, but by the second day it was no big deal. The covered parking area was perfect for returning to the home during rainy weather. If I could take another week off of work,,, I’d return in a minute."
