  • What a fantastic place to escape from it all!!!!

"Debbie and Roy have a great place to escape, relax and re-energize! We stayed in this cozy little cabin for a 5 day time period in July. You cannot ask for better hosts. They come down to check on you and make sure all is good but are not intrusive at all. They can recommend places to go, things to see or do, places to eat and even bring by extra firewood to keep you enjoying the outdoors after dark. We brought our bike and rode many of the great roads in the area. There is no cell signal but we were working with Roy on the WIFI when we left and were able to access it with a laptop from the outside picnic table and right by the main door. This is a great place to get away from it all and really relax and enjoy this beautiful section of North Carolina. The cabin is cozy and works well for a couple. Couldn't ask for a better vacation getaway."

  • The Best Time Ever !

"We loved our stay in Cabin 5. Ivor and Linda are the best host you could ask for. The cabin is spacious and the night sky is amazing. We did a lot of sight seeing in Bryson City, Deep Creek, Cherokee, Cashiers, Dry Falls and Highland Falls. Our next trip will be to just stay in the cabin, hike around the area and maybe enjoy some snow. When we arrived the fire place was already set up to start a fire, the kitchen has anything you need to cook and there is a gas grill on the porch. This was a much needed vacation and we could not be happier with our stay. Thanks Linda and Ivor !"

  • Great place for a business Retreat.

"We had a group of business owners up from Atlanta area to work on business issues and rented two houses side by side. This was the perfect place for what we wanted and private. Outstanding views, very comfortable houses, with plenty of room for meetings and group discussions. The clubhouse and pool were a great advantage. While we would have been sweating in 98-degree heat in Atlanta, we had cool days and nights here in the mountains. Nearby parks with hiking trails and waterfalls along with a great par 3 eighteen hole golf course were just what we needed for our free time gatherings and only minutes from the house. We stayed in house named Bellevue and all the people there loved it. The large screened- in porch made nighttime gatherings wonderful, along with the great room and very nicely equipped kitchen. We Look forward to coming back in the future."

  • Great Place in the Mountains

"We stayed at this property in January, 2015. The cabin has incredible views from the interior as well as a number of wonder balconies for watching the sunset or having dinner or just drinking wine. The interior is spacious and well decorated with many added touches. The cabin was extremely clean and the fireplace is a great place to curl up with a book or just enjoy the views of the mountains. The cabin is convenient to shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this place as a romantic getaway, family reunion or just a place to kick back and de-stress."
