  • Great weekend

"Great house. Plenty to do on property and secluded location. Kids road ATVs and dune buggies all week. Only 2 of the 4 vehicles were able to make it up the mountain but everyone was forewarned and we had no problems shuttling everyone up. We went rock climbing, zip lining, horseback riding, as well as had diner in town several nights. A little bit of a drive to get to everything, but well worth it to get to spend the week in the mountains."

  • Wonderful time!

"We had such a wonderful time! My family lives far away from each other so we really cherish times we do get to spend with one another. The barn was beautiful! It had everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfast together, was comfy, and had enough to keep you entertained for days. My favorite part was all the farm animals! The family was so nice and their son introduced us to the animals. My 16 month nephew just had a blast seeing the baby pigs, chickens, horses and 700 pound pigs that they let us feed apples to! Now he can't stop saying "apple!" "pig!" Overall, it was such an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it!"

  • Waterfall Chalet

"This rental house is very well appointed and perfectly stocked. Although it seemed that the trails on the property had been blocked off by fallen trees, there were plenty of other trails in the area to enjoy (the Rufus Morgan trail and the Park Creek trail were both excellent). The waterfall beside the house is gorgeous and it was lovely listening to it in the evenings. However, like the last reviewer stated, there are very close neighbors. When standing at the pool of the waterfall, you are about 8 feet from the neighbor's backyard and you can see into their house from the deck at the rental house. If you don't mind the close proximity, I would definitely recommend the house. But if you are looking for seclusion and privacy, this may not be the place for you."
