"I have stayed at this cabin several times over the last few years. First with some buddies on a fishing trip and then again with my family. This cabin is not luxury - if you're looking for granite counter tops, Egyptian cotton sheets and high end design then move right along. But if you're in the market for a peaceful, no frills, true mountain cabin then this is the spot for you. This cabin has an amazing river front lot. You are directly on the water and can go fishing or swimming whenever you want. The hot tub is big plus and the kids really enjoyed it. There's a big yard with a fire ring and swing. Location is perfect - directly between Dillsboro and Cherokee. This has become my go to cabin for quick getaways. I will most definitely be back and highly recommend this cabin."

"Words cannot describe my feelings towards this cabin. The amenities, furniture, bed linens, hot tub, EVERYTHING was perfect. We were a group of 2 adult couples and 2 children. This cabin was a perfect fit in that it had 2 master suites and then a downstairs bedroom off of the den for the kids. My kids were in heaven at this place. They had a poker table, pool table, ping pong, hot tub, gas fire pit, flat screen tvs and their own "bar" downstairs complete with mini fridge. Dillsboro is a great central location for all the activities in the area. The cabin has very easy access and is paved all the way to the front door. Did I also mention the price?!? Other comparable cabins that I looked at were at least an additional $500 per week. When I inquired as to why it was so cheap, the girl told me that the homeowner made the decision to keep the price affordable in order to get more rentals. I'm glad that the owner decided to do this! We will most definitely be back and I can't wait to stay here again."

"We love this cabin! It was our first time staying here and fell hard for it. The pictures of the view don't do it justice. The cabin had everything inside that we could possibly need. The main purpose of our trip was to see a football game at Western Carolina University and we were surprised at how close this cabin was to campus and the other activities in the area that we did. It seemed to be right in the middle of everything. My kids loved the hot tub and the wireless internet. Thank you for an awesome trip."

"My family and I had such an amazing time at 'Lazy Bear Lodge'. We knew that we wanted to stay in an authentic log cabin (there's no other way to do it when you go to the mountains). This cabin had everything we were looking for and more. The outdoor area was perfect for our evenings. We built fires and sat around while the kids played in the hot tub. The view from the cabin is breathtaking and everything about our trip was perfect. We will definitely be back to this cabin!"
