"We had a party of 12 and had a really great time during our stay. Like everyone else says, the views are amazing. It really doesn't get much better. But even the house was pretty spectacular as well. Everything was clean, everything worked, it was well equipped with everything you would need for an extended stay. It's very close to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Even Asheville is an easy 30 minute ride. Working out all the details such as arranging payment, getting the keys, etc. was a piece of cake. The owners are very professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a great mountain vacation."

"We had a wonderful family weekend at Solitude! I asked Terri questions about the house and area attractions and she was always quick to respond with helpful answers. The house is the perfect size. We have 2 young children and it was easy to keep up with a 2 year old full of energy. We enjoyed the screened in porch for sitting and eating and the firepit out back. The house is close enough to town so a quick run to the grocery store didn't take long and we went to Chimney Rock 2 days in a row since it was so close. My toddler enjoyed playing in the creek and walking to the "Edge of the World." There is information in a binder about the area attractions and a few sightseeing areas close to the house that we took advantage of. It was a treat for Daddy to be able to spend a weekend with his kids and make memories that will not be forgotten."

"We stayed at the Bat Cave River Cottage 3 bedroom on 6/25-6/29/2015. It was amazing. There were 6 of us in the house. 4 adults and 2 children (ages 6&7). From the moment we arrived we just knew the good times that were ahead of us. The house is situated in the PERFECT spot. Directly on the Broad River literally. The sound of that river alone made the trip. Three wonderful bedrooms and two bathrooms made everything effortless. We cooked all but 3 meals in the house. The kitchen is loaded so there is nothing that you need except what you want to cook. The house is super clean and well kept. The best part to us was the deck out back. Between the hot tub, grill, and river that seems to be where we were most of the time. At night there were so many lightning bugs that the whole outside sparkled. I honestly can not say enough good things about this house of the homeowners. I will definitely be returning to this house!"

"My family got together for a family reunion, gathering here from across the U.S. It was perfect -- both the setting as well as the cabin. 3 floors, all luxuriously furnished; gorgeous views and decks with rocking chairs; a hot tub; pool table; great kitchen (cooking utensils could be updated). The 3 bedrooms were all lovely. The living room and dining room were spacious as well as comfortable. It's a perfect location for relaxing, and sightseeing in Asheville, Hendersonville, and the Blue Ridge Mountains. I would definitely recommend it!"
