  • Modern Farmhouse Highlands Best!

"Your Highlands Farmhouse could not have been more perfect. The furniture , kitchen, baths, porches all made the stay perfect for our family of 8. Great to rent a house that is even better than the pictures!"

  • Great trip

"The home was clean and comfortable. We had record cold and snow during our trip, but we stayed warm and cozy. While the heat was catching up from being cut back while vacant, there were plenty of blankets. The extras from staying in a home versus a rental were very appreciated. Our kids enjoyed to monopoly and scrabble. The yard was great for our snowball fight. The skiing and tubing were also awesome. The only downside of the trip was that a lot of restaurants in Maggie Valley were closed until Spring, but drive a little further to Waynesville and there were plenty of options. Angelo's Family Pizza and Pasta has excellent garlic balls and great specials!"

  • Lovely home, immaculately clean.

"Liz was very helpful and followed up on check-in. We enjoyed our stay, the house was perfect for our daughters with separate living and sleeping quarters. The house is private and was stocked with everything you need for a nice time. Our family would stay again."

  • A Sizable Slice of Heaven

"I stayed at this cabin with two of my lifelong friends; we used to go to the Smokies every summer when we were twenty-somethings, but then life got in the way, as it inevitably does. Now, we're fifty-somethings and had the opportunity to do it again, so we grabbed it, but decided against tent camping this time! They got to the cabin before I did, and the only thing my friends kept repeating to me over and over on the phone was, "You've got to get here NOW! You really outdid yourself picking this place. It's gorgeous, and the view is wonderful!" That was my opinion as well when I arrived. We spent a large portion of our time on the covered back porch admiring every detail of the amazing view. We ate ALL of our meals out there, accompanied by a sizable spider which had spun a web between the railing and a support post. We enjoyed observing him all week long, and even fed him a few times with a handy live insect. No reason to get rid of him, he's just trying to make a living same as us, right? There's nothing really bad to say about the place. Everything was clean and well-maintained, the beds were very comfy, and the location is well-situated to be close to all of the attractions the Bryson City area has to offer. We went rafting on the Nantahala, we went ziplining, we hiked, we dined, we did it all -- and had a great time doing it. The description of the cabin and its amenities is spot on. The pictures included in the listing are accurate and good, but the reality of being there is much, much better than photos could ever depict. We wanted to stay longer and actually called to see if we could, but another party was already booked in for the next day. That's okay. We will always have the memories of the fun we had. The only negative aspect I can think of is that the three bedrooms are located on three different floors, so only one of the three is accessible without using a full set of stairs. The set which go down to the lower level are steeper than the set that goes up to the loft bedroom. All in all, this cabin is heartily recommended. You most surely won't be disappointed."
