"My wife and I, along with my brother and his wife rented this cabin for Valentine's Day weekend. We'd planned three days of R & R and to try our hand at skiing. While the skiing is definitely not our thing, the cabin was absolutely fantastic. The owner is courteous and helpful in assuring that our needs are met. The cabin is beautiful and very spacious, excellently insulated so it stays warm and cozy (it got down to single digit temps during our stay) and the hot tub is the perfect way to relax. We loved our trip and will be back in the future! Thanks, Paul."

"We vacation via motorcycle and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. You are directly in the heart of definitely the best motorcycle riding in the USA. The hospitality of Mike (property mgr) and Anna (owner) is that of a five star hotel! For the price of a "same old hotel room" you can stay literally in the "backwoods" of a beautiful mountain home with a large mountain stream running right through the back yard. The deck is just three feet from the waters edge!
Will we stay here again? Absolutely, no question about it!! We will look nowhere else when we return to the area again, and again.
Thank You, Mike and Anna for such an enjoyable stay."

"Cabin is nestled in quiet and private area of the Blue Ridge Mountains, conveniently located about halfway between Highlands and Cashiers. It's beautifully and luxuriously designed and decorated, making for the perfect romantic getaway. Bought a few groceries to utilize the kitchen when we didn't feel like going out, but when we did, the restaurants suggested by the owner were fabulous. We spent 4 days here, relaxing and recharging. Highly recommended."

"This home is even more spectacular than the photos suggest and the owner even arranged for the home to be decorated with Christmas lights and Christmas tree during our stay. There was loads of room for our group of 20 and there was always something to keep us entertained if the weather kept us inside - reading in the libary by the fireplace with a view of the mountains, playing board games in the loft, or pool and ping pong on the lower level. Sipping coffee on the deck in the morning while watching the fog burn off to reveal the mountains was a particluar highlight. We had a wonderful week at the Eagles Nest and we recommend it wholeheartedly."
