  • Great Family Reunion

"Our family of 12, ages 7 to 80 had a wonderful time in this beautiful lake house. We rented a pontoon boat, the family used the paddle boat and canoe. The kitchen had all the amenities you needed. Everything was perfect. 3 levels to roam in the house. Outside was just beautiful and there was a fire pit, however, never had time to use it. There are plenty of waterfalls to visit, hiking available, shopping in Cashiers and Highlands. Just not enough time to do it. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We had a slight issue with the grill and their crew was out to fix it the next day. A wonderful rental. Would rent here again."

  • Beautiful location

"We stayed during the peak of leaf season and the whole area was gorgeous. This home was centrally located between Asheville, Hendersonville and Brevard allowing us to do everything we wanted so easily. We loved driving thru the Pisgah Forest as it was just amazing. The home is so quiet and private, the horses are an added eye feature for us city dwellers. The fireplace at night was so cozy! Our only adjustment needed were for the annual ladybugs who are harmless but who wanted to be roommates. We enjoyed our time here. The owners and their family were so very nice and attentive. I would love to come back again next year. Thanks for sharing with us."

  • Everything we wanted it to be

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin and our vacation was everything we wanted it to be. We did the 5 R's: rest, relax, recooperate, rejuvenate, reconnect AND had fun. There are 2 guest books full of suggestions from other visitors and 2 resource books (restaurants and things to do/see) that the owners put together which were very helpful. If you look through them the first day/night you are there, you will have all the info you need on wherever you want to go and whatever you want to do. You will probably end up with a few more fun things on your list as well! The Smokey Mtn Visitor's center is just up the road as well if you need more info. The waterfalls are spectacular and there are many hikes as well. There is fresh produce and a creamery just down the road. You have it all here. A great view, rocking chairs on a screened in porch (no bugs), the hot tub, a game room, board games, charcoal grill for the BEST dinners, peace and quiet. Because it is on top of a hill (that's why the awesome view) be prepared to put it in low gear to climb the hill. Everything in the cabin worked and we didn't have any issues. Beds were comfy, dishwasher, washer/dryer and just about every thing you need in the kitchen is provided. Wi-fii was great so we could check in and post pictures at the end of the day. Vickie (the property manager) was very helpful. We had a beautiful sunrise and sunset and the Autumn colors are just beginning. The deck is unique and you can tell this cabin has been a labor of love over the years."

  • Neat rustic cabin in the mountains

"The cabin was exactly as described. It was rustic, cozy, well equipped and close to the mountains and trails. We had a very nice and relaxing stay. It's a great place to stay if you are looking to access the Appalachian trail."
