"We liked everything about this cottage. The setting cannot be beat. We had our days planned with hikes in the local area, but discovered that we could have been just as content to stay at the cottage and relax while the kids played at the stream. There are porches to enjoy in all kinds or weather, the kitchen is nicely updated, the living room is comfortable for relaxing and visiting. We could see coming back here during any season of the year, just to relax at the cottage!"Guest: Cheree Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 27, 2014View listing
"Hi Jimbo! Thank you for providing such a perfect place to take a real vacation - I couldn't have asked for anything more! The house is very clean and inviting - I love the two fireplaces and the beautiful furniture! The farm house has such great character both inside and out and I felt so comfortable and relaxed while I was there. The land is so beautifully manicured - It is amazing for such a large property! I enjoyed feeding the fish in the beautiful lake and sitting on the wooden swing to watch the sunset. I can make one trip into town to buy groceries and then stay on the property for an entire week without leaving! The hiking trails are amazing and the views from everywhere on your property are the best ever! I appreciate that you check in on us to ensure that everything is OK. I will recommend this perfect vacation spot to everyone I know- It doesn't get better than Jimbo's Farm! "This place was everything and more. I loved spending a long weekend with my family at The Hubbard House. It was amazing. We stepped back in time with all the modern conveniences. The decoration, were amazing. The comfortable beds all the rocking chairs on the porch. I wasn't sure what it would be like, but we were going to try. We found a diamond in Brevard NC and we all want to go again. Karen and Nick, you are amazing. Thank you."Guest: ruanka Date of Stay: October 2013 Review Submitted: October 16, 2013View listing
"The owner is very pleasant to work with and she accommodated us in every way possible. The place was clean and quiet. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive stay. The kitchen has everything you would need to make meals and even provided some mixes for muffins. The location is convenient to Franklin and we highly recommend the Thai Paradise restaurant on 441 close to the turn off for this house."Guest: Cristie J.
