  • Waterfall Chalet

"This rental house is very well appointed and perfectly stocked. Although it seemed that the trails on the property had been blocked off by fallen trees, there were plenty of other trails in the area to enjoy (the Rufus Morgan trail and the Park Creek trail were both excellent). The waterfall beside the house is gorgeous and it was lovely listening to it in the evenings. However, like the last reviewer stated, there are very close neighbors. When standing at the pool of the waterfall, you are about 8 feet from the neighbor's backyard and you can see into their house from the deck at the rental house. If you don't mind the close proximity, I would definitely recommend the house. But if you are looking for seclusion and privacy, this may not be the place for you."

  • Riverfront Retreat

"We had a great time at this beautiful home! The kids loved playing in the yard, hiking, swimming/tubing in the river, and cookouts on the deck. What a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We will definitely plan another vacation at this beautiful home."

  • I'll be back!

"Blessing Ridge far exceeded our expectations and was even nicer than the pictures depict. The view of the mountains from the two story greatroom with open beam ceilings was breathtaking; and the house was very tastefully decorated, nicely equipped and immaculate. My sister owns a cabin in Franklin, and a large group of family and friends meets in town every year. In previous years, I've rented a room at a local hotel, but I'll never be satisfied doing so again. Members of our group that stayed in hotels, but had the opportunity to see our accommodations, were actually pretty jealous and teased about trying to secure Blessing Ridge before I have the chance next year. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional, and we indeed felt "blessed" to be there! A huge "thank you" to the owners for providing such a beatiful place and for being wonderful to work with through the booking process . . . ."

  • Best VRBO ever!

"My husband and I had the same response when we first walked into this lovely home. "Wow!" Though the pictures are accurate, they can't capture the amazing view from this mountain-top retreat or the spaciousness of this home. Just the two of us enjoyed the most serene, comfortable, private and peaceful week here. We lived on the deck watching the amazing Smokes ever-changing views. The home is beautifully and comfortably appointed. The kitchen is supplied well and part of the great room which includes windows and skylights everywhere. Vicki was most responsive to any of our questions or needs. We enjoyed several beautiful drives, south to check out all the waterfalls and then along the 'waterway road". We would definitely stay here again. The only down-side was distant road noise from the highway which can't be heard inside. I only mention this because, if your goal is total mountain silence, you will be aware of the highway off in the distance. I suggest finding this spot in the daylight."
