"If you are looking for a private and relaxing get away this is the place for you. My family of five had a wonderful time just hanging out at the cabin all week. There is so much to do on their 17 acres that we never felt like leaving. Annette was wonderful to work with (very trusting), they have everything for you to enjoy a wonderful vacation!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin and our vacation was everything we wanted it to be. We did the 5 R's: rest, relax, recooperate, rejuvenate, reconnect AND had fun. There are 2 guest books full of suggestions from other visitors and 2 resource books (restaurants and things to do/see) that the owners put together which were very helpful. If you look through them the first day/night you are there, you will have all the info you need on wherever you want to go and whatever you want to do. You will probably end up with a few more fun things on your list as well! The Smokey Mtn Visitor's center is just up the road as well if you need more info. The waterfalls are spectacular and there are many hikes as well. There is fresh produce and a creamery just down the road. You have it all here. A great view, rocking chairs on a screened in porch (no bugs), the hot tub, a game room, board games, charcoal grill for the BEST dinners, peace and quiet. Because it is on top of a hill (that's why the awesome view) be prepared to put it in low gear to climb the hill. Everything in the cabin worked and we didn't have any issues. Beds were comfy, dishwasher, washer/dryer and just about every thing you need in the kitchen is provided. Wi-fii was great so we could check in and post pictures at the end of the day. Vickie (the property manager) was very helpful. We had a beautiful sunrise and sunset and the Autumn colors are just beginning. The deck is unique and you can tell this cabin has been a labor of love over the years."

"Our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. The cabin was more spacious than we had thought. Our host, David, was more than welcoming. He made sure we had everything we needed and that things were running accordingly. He helped us with some great hiking trails to visit along the way. Great cabin for four people to stay at. We will definitely be coming back to again!"

"This was my 3rd stay at Misty Mountain. This time it was a "sewing retreat" for myself and 3 friends. The location is wonderful, and the view is spectacular! We had pretty much everything that we needed for the week. We were comfortable and it was very quiet and peaceful. Matt was very accommodating and we appreciated his help. We had a great week!"
