"My husband and I are recent "empty nesters". We used to take our kids tent camping in the area and decided to try returning and doing vacation alone like "big people". What a treat! Grandma's Cabin was such a treasure. From the moment we opened the door, we were greeted with the aromas of "clean" and "inviting". The cabin was well-equipped and lacked nothing. Each day we ventured out: Black Mountain, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, DuPont Forest, Hendersonville, and Bryson City. After hiking and sight-seeing, the hot tub was divine to soak aching muscles. The old cemetery is really cool and it is right on the cabin's site. Restful, relaxing and easy. Coming again soon!"

"I was working in the area and traveling with my family. I knew the hotel selection for Hendersonville left a lot to be desired, so we looked into renting a cabin. This was perfectly located and not far from the main road where there is a full grocery store, restaurants and gas stations. The pictures are spot-on and then some! When we walked in, we immediately felt at home. My work got extended and we ended up staying a month. My entire family fell in love with the cabin. The whirlpool tub and the comfortable bed were personal favorites. My kids loved playing in the creek. We enjoyed quite a few nights on the deck with the grill and the fire pit. The kitchen supplies and household items are abundantly stocked. The birds and squirrels must have gained weight while we were there because we kept the feeders full to enjoy the daily visits, particularly from the white albino squirrels. Phone service is spotty, but on clear days I got low Verizon signal - but having a landline helped. The internet was strong and consistent, as was the TV reception. The owner was a delight to deal with and we can't wait to visit again!"

"The owners were friendly and helpful. Before the stay we were informed that they live in the top floor above the property which they do. However we never saw or heard from them for the entire length of our stay.
The property is in a good condition, the decor was not to our taste but was in good condition and had all the necessary towels, kitchen utensils, wifi etc... to live comfortable for the duration of our stay. The location provided a very convenient and comfortable place to rest and relax in the setting of the North Carolina mountains, the location is pretty quiet away from direct road noise and felt like a fairly secluded spot despite being only a very convenient 15 minute drive or less to Hendersonville / Flat Rock etc...
The view from the double bed and balcony is beautiful! Especially first thing in the morning where the valley it overlooks fills with cloud/mist and the trees are all different fall colors. The stars are beautiful from the Spa pool too!
All in all my wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay here and will be looking to stay there again in the future."
