"Two of us were in Highlands for a wedding and loved our accommodations in this quaint little cottage. The surroundings were so peaceful and quiet, and we were only a short drive to town. The next-door neighbors (who live in their mountain home 6 months of the year) were very friendly and helpful about the surrounding area. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend anyone visiting Highlands to stay here and I would definitely stay here again."

"We had a wonderful time at Creekview Cabin. Thank you for the use of your cabin. It was clean and had everything available we could ask for. It is a beautiful place to read, cook, and enjoy the sounds of the running creek water. The screened in porch was enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we ate almost all our meals at the cabin. The bed was very comfortable. It is an easy drive to Highlands and Cashiers. Dave (owner) was very friendly and prompt on emails. Dave gave us lots of information in emails for groceries, fresh seafood, good butcher, restaurant suggestions, and trails. Lori (property manager) was helpful, friendly, and efficient.
We found this to be quite a restful, peaceful place. We had a wonderful dinner at The Orchard in Cashiers; thanks Dave for the recommendation. We had a nice hike on paved walkway to see the waterfall nine miles south of Cashiers. Our Goldens had daily walks to the highway and back as well as daily romps at the Highlands Dog Park. Thanks for the nice vacation "home away from home"."

"If you want to rest and recover from the busy day-to-day rush, slow it down at the Butterfly Ranch. Be close to great food and shopping or just grill out on the comfy porch. Time for reading, hiking, and enjoying nature. Watching the deer come in the evening to graze and eat apples was quite the photo op. Amazing what just a weekend stay can do for your peace of mind! Everything about the cabin made it feel warm and relaxing!"
