  • It's all about the view!

"Our family vacations have always been at the beach. So I guess we are flatlanders! The first drive up Highland Gap Road was a shocker, very curvy and somewhat narrow road. As it happens, over the week, this curvy road became one of the things a loved most about this very private location. We saw 3 deer and a wild turkey the 1st day trying to find the house. The iron railing around the deck prevented any obstruction of view and with no down exit we did not have to worry about the safety of our french bull dog, Lulu. The 2nd week of Aug and we never had the a/c on. Hubby and adult children went white water rafting, kayaking, and hiking. I had to baby sit Lulu, which was not a problem in this relaxing home. Only negative was the sofa. It really, really needs replacing."

  • Our favorite house yet!

"Our family has been coming together in Highlands for nearly 10 years for a week in June. This house met our every need and is in the beautiful Old Edwards Club between Cashiers and Highlands. Temporary membership was well worth doing for all of us--lovely pool , awesome golf course and clubhouse and Grill most enjoyable. The house has room for everyone to spread out, beds the MOST comfy we've ever slept in on vacation, porch-outdoor fireplace the best spot on cool evenings. Debi and ssDavid were most helpful and attentive during our stay-wonderful hosts. We have already reserved our week for 2015!"

  • Great trip to Highlands!

"This is our second summer to spend a week in Highlands at the Tree House - it is a fantastic house for families and also for our dog! :) The owners are so easy to work with and are extremely accommodating - and return our deposit in a timely manner! We loved walking to town to grab breakfast or dinner - the driveway is steep as described but it is no problem to walk up the stone pavers. We have loved our time spent at the Tree House and can't wait to go back again! Highly recommend for families, children, dogs, etc.!"
