  • Private, Convenient & Cozy

"I stayed here with my family for a week in October and have also rented this cute cottage in the summer. With an easy walk to town and the Highlands Greenway Trail too, you can't beat the location. The interior is nicely decorated and very comfortable. (Check out the mushroom lamp!) Being right across the street from the Highlands Nature Center and botanical garden is a bonus. Owners Donna and Chris are wonderful hosts."

  • Great location and close to town

"We enjoyed a lovely long weekend with our grown daughters and family dogs in this quiet and wooded neighborhood. The decks (upper and lower) are large and partially covered for enjoying whether it rains or shines. The fenced back yard is perfect for enjoying with pets. The owner was so very helpful and easy to reach if needed. We would love to visit again!"

  • Great Getaway

"We had such a great time. The location is close to Higlands and Cashiers for sightseeing and shopping. The owner has made sure you have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable vacation. We will definitely be back. Thanks"

  • It's all about the view!

"Our family vacations have always been at the beach. So I guess we are flatlanders! The first drive up Highland Gap Road was a shocker, very curvy and somewhat narrow road. As it happens, over the week, this curvy road became one of the things a loved most about this very private location. We saw 3 deer and a wild turkey the 1st day trying to find the house. The iron railing around the deck prevented any obstruction of view and with no down exit we did not have to worry about the safety of our french bull dog, Lulu. The 2nd week of Aug and we never had the a/c on. Hubby and adult children went white water rafting, kayaking, and hiking. I had to baby sit Lulu, which was not a problem in this relaxing home. Only negative was the sofa. It really, really needs replacing."
