"We had a wonderful honeymoon! After 16 years of marriage, we took time to get away. We have lived in Asheville and visited Hotsprings so we knew the mountains and wanted to get back to them. Based purely on the pictures and the reviews we chose Limestone Cabin and we were extremely glad we did!
The cabin has what seems to me like welcoming arms that come down the limestone steps to embrace the guests. We were greeted by the massive porch where we grilled our suppers. read, painted, talked, rocked on the rockers, that Harold provides and watched the trains go by. The front door is hugh and hung expertly, swinging with ease. Inside we saw the open floor plan with big stone fireplace to the right, in front of the couch and easy chair and kitchen to the left, with dining table. On the first floor there is a full bathroom off the dining area. We then ventured upstairs and were delighted to see there a half bath, next to the full-sized bed. This loft area is so quiet and peaceful as well as equiped!
Spending most of our time at the cabin was a treat. Everything was provided by Harold, including washer and dryer. My sweet husband cooked out on the grill every night and I baked some. There was even a masher to mash the bananas for bread!
We did walk to town every morning of our five day stay, just a 15 min. walk down the train tracks. Hot Springs has very warm and personable people, with anything that you might need.
The hot tub on the back porch was superb, clean, and well used by us! We could visualize it in the winter too! I guess a return trip needs to be made in colder weather! See you again Harold and thank you so much! you have a great place there in Hot Springs! He move this cabin you know to the current location. It is a vintage cabin, 100 years old, where a woman raise 12 children."

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin surrounded by mountains. It is close so close to Hot Springs, the AT and other great trails. We loved the Iron Horse in town for lunch or dinner after a long day of hiking. The fire pit in the front was a great way to end the day while looking at the stars and then dip into the hot tub to soothe the muscles before bed."

"We have rented a lot of cabins over the years. This was the best experience we've ever had. The cabin is homey and comfortable, yet contains all the comforts of home. GeGe obviously loves her home and the Hot Springs area and it shows in the look and feel of the entire property, as well as through the wealth of information about the the surrounding area she shared with us. If you love the sound of rushing water, owls, woodpeckers, trains in the distance and nothing else but the contented sighs of your fellow travelers, this is the place for you.
A word of advice: Be very careful when driving on the unpaved road to and from Hot Springs. We witnessed a vehicle roll down an embankment when the driver moved a little too close to the road's edge to make room for an oncoming car. Luckily, trees kept him from ending up in the river. I would not let this deter you from considering renting the cabin, but do be aware."

"Our group was comprised of six friends who met over the Internet, so when we say you won't regret being unplugged at this cabin, you can trust us. The access to the Appalachian Trail and numerous whitewater rafting outfitters meant there was always a good way to wear ourselves out during the day, and the fire pit by the creek and the beautiful decks provided plenty of space to relax once we were tuckered out. We were fortunate enough to get to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower from the top of the mountain during our stay, but any regular ol' night up there will still offer one of the best views of the Milky Way any of us had ever seen. We can't say enough good things about this cabin and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a little time away from the hustle and bustle of life in the Wireless World."
