"We loved your cabin. It was roomy and clean and had absolutely everything we needed or wanted. Loved sitting on the deck watching the moon. Everything just perfect.
I particularly appreciated the thoughtfulness that you put into making the cabin welcoming.
Also I appreciated that it was tastefully decorated without a thousand dusty knick-knacks that one so often finds cluttering up a rental property. I liked not finding a bunch of old condiments in the refrigerator. Your movie, game, and book selections were great, although we didn't really have time to do any of that because the weather was so perfect.
My 2 sisters and I agreed that it was the best place we'd ever rented."

"Amazing time at the cabin! My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend and had a great time fishing, hiking and relaxing on the porch. House was fully equipped for cooking and had a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Grill and fire pit were a plus too! Can't wait to come back again!"

"What a wonderful, relaxing hideaway. The only negative I could say is that the cabin and surroundings were not what I expected - THEY WERE SO MUCH MORE!
We visited for a weekend with our rescue pup, "Jester," and two of our friends from Alabama and could not have had a better time. Paint Rock Cabin is so well-equipped (including the large, well-seasoned cast iron skillet that I used to make sausage gravy for our Sunday morning feast), and tastefully decorated. GeGe even had pet bowls on hand for Jester to use. The re-purposing of so many antiques in unexpected ways reflects the artistic side of the owners. All in all, this is a place I will highly recommend to family and friends - just as long as they do not want to head for the mountains the same time I do, this place is where I will be heading."

"What a beauty! Great area to roam without any interruptions! Even though we had three young kids, it had an enjoyable atmosphere. If you plan to stay in the cabin for lengthy periods, make sure you bring a few things to do: board games, DVDs, radio. No cell service or wifi was wonderful, but we ended up venturing out to towns more than I wanted due to some rambunctious kids (4, 2, and 8months) that wanted to climb the stairs every five minutes! (and sturdy stairs too!) I loved this place and may try to enjoy it again once hubby and I have some alone time! (Or when the kids get a bit older!) We did enjoy beautiful walks every morning, and learned about so many colors in the wilderness! Thank you for a wonderful, clean, beautiful, and restful place to call home for a few nights! The kids were able to help their dad make cupcakes for their moms birthday! It was a very special trip!"
