"Great little cabin. Very quiet except for those sounds created by Mother Nature. You'll be greeted by an old hound dog & his buddy but they merely keep an eye out for you during your stay. It is quite a road to the cabin so leave the lower slung cars at home. Our last minute motivation was to escape the Charlotte heat (100+) & escape we did: 72 degrees with a lovely breese. The pictures tell the whole story."

"Deb was very good to work with and everything was in order. She even left us a cell phone that got service which made us feel very much at ease. It was just my wife and myself and our dog but it was big enough for a few more. We hope to go back with the rest of our family! Thanks for a Great stay Michael and Loretta"

"Amazing time at the cabin! My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend and had a great time fishing, hiking and relaxing on the porch. House was fully equipped for cooking and had a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Grill and fire pit were a plus too! Can't wait to come back again!"

"We have rented a lot of cabins over the years. This was the best experience we've ever had. The cabin is homey and comfortable, yet contains all the comforts of home. GeGe obviously loves her home and the Hot Springs area and it shows in the look and feel of the entire property, as well as through the wealth of information about the the surrounding area she shared with us. If you love the sound of rushing water, owls, woodpeckers, trains in the distance and nothing else but the contented sighs of your fellow travelers, this is the place for you.
A word of advice: Be very careful when driving on the unpaved road to and from Hot Springs. We witnessed a vehicle roll down an embankment when the driver moved a little too close to the road's edge to make room for an oncoming car. Luckily, trees kept him from ending up in the river. I would not let this deter you from considering renting the cabin, but do be aware."
