  • Outstanding Cabin

"We so enjoyed this cabin. We'd never been to Hot Springs before and the property and surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous! The cabin was so warm and inviting and had such fun, personal touches. We hiked and played in the creeks with our little ones, made S'mores around the campfire and just relaxed. The decor is great, we loved the eclectic furniture, the hammock and the easy river access. We will definitely be back! Thank you for making the cabin so fabulous!"

  • Beautiful cabin

"Great cabin. The stream is perfect, especially with the windows open, you can hear the running water in the house. Beds were very comfortable. Had plenty of linens and cook ware. Will be staying here again!"

  • PARADISE!

"I LOVED it. Cabin is designed well, clean, modern, functional. Property is AMAZING. My son (age 8) and I took a father/son trip over thanksgiving, just to get away. And we took our Bernese Mountain Dog (5 months old) with us. The weather gave us a bit of a fit. The day we arrived, it was raining so hard, we could barely see 50 feet ahead of us driving up. After getting unloaded and settled in, we stayed cozy by the gas fireplace, playing games and watching movies. That night, it was predicted to have some snow flurries, which turned into 17 hours of snow! For my son and my dog (who had never seen snow, but is, well, a mountain dog) had the most fun as we walked, played and explored the property. There's plenty of well maintained trails and lots to see. Would love to see the areas around the creek in the summer. Owner has made benches to sit and watch the stream in several places along the flowing water. The driveway in and out is SCARY the first time going either up or down. And since we arrived in the pouring rain and then the snow came, we only had one trip each way--never left the property for our entire stay. Lots of shade on the driveway so the snow turned to ice sheets in several places. In my worries about the driveway and being able to get back out, I emailed the property manager, who helped make me feel better, giving me the contact information for the owner who would be available to help if needed. We did NOT have a four wheel drive and we made it, but in the future, I'd probably want to have one in any bad weather. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed. I noticed little things that most rentals don't have--we had extra batteries if we needed them for the remotes, we took paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc, but brought them all back home--never needed them. The kitchen had plenty of dish towels and dish clothes, something I never see, so that was something else we didn't need to pack. I slept in the front bedroom and my son slept in the loft. Beds were fantastic, slept better than I do at home. The front porch was my favorite place, even in the cold. Go sit and listen to the creek and watch my son and dog running and playing. The sight was amazing. I can't say enough about Susan, the property manager...I felt she was there for anything I needed. My son actually broke down in tears over having to leave--and I felt the same way. I look forward to coming back!"

  • Incredible! The peace and quiet was amazing!

"The cabin is exactly as described - rustic, restored, peaceful and quiet. My daughter, her two sons and I spent a very relaxing weekend in the cabin. The boys are still talking about that trip and we plan another trip soon. The river, the picnic area, the peace and quiet are all magical! The house is comfortably furnished and we had everything we needed. The trains are wonderful - not disturbing, relaxing to sit and watch them pass or hear them in the night. We fell in love with not only this cabin but the town of Hot Springs. Small town Americana with friendly people, hikers with their dogs and beauty everywhere!"
